Ms Karen Khoo is an entrepreneurial leader with extensive experience in corporate sales within the hotel and advertising sectors, serving over 100 companies and multinational corporations across Malaysia, Singapore, and Dubai. Since 2001, she successfully manages a series of companies with diverse disciplines, focusing on both management and daily operations. 

Ms Karen Khoo started her career in Eastin Hotel, Petaling Jaya as a Sales Coordinator and was promoted to Sales Manager from 2001 to 2003. She was the Sales Manager in Hilton Kuala Lumpur, KL Sentral (Pre-Opening and Opening) from 2003 to 2005. She then joined GHM Hotels from 2005 to 2006, as a Senior Sales Manager. She worked as the Senior Sales Manager from 2007 to 2008 in Sunway Resort Hotel and Spa. She later joined Novotel Kuala Lumpur from 2008 to 2009 as an Assistant Director of Sales; and as an Associate Director with Thinkscape AMPS from 2009 to 2011. Ms Karen Khoo started her own business as a Director and Founder of Kalex Enterprise from 2012 to 2014. Currently, she is a Director and Founder of Racing Creatures Sdn Bhd, as well as a Director and Co-Founder of Coffee Art Fringe Festival Asia Sdn Bhd and Kakao Ventures Sdn Bhd. She has demonstrated a keen ability to pivot, adapt and lead with vision, with her launch from Kalex Enterprise, a creative agency focused on graphic design and marketing activation, going on to spearheading the evolution of Racing Creatures Sdn Bhd into a holistic marketing communication agency. Her leadership has fostered impactful collaborations with notable clients and she has driven forward-thinking initiatives in placemaking, community building, and brand development.

Ms Karen Khoo was appointed on 28 April 2020 to the Board of Osteria Gamberoni Sdn Bhd, a 70% subsidiary of Advance Synergy Berhad, as an independent non-executive director.
