Mr Poh Ying Loo began his career as an auditor in Ong Boon Bah & Co in 1986 and joined FACB Industries Incorporated Berhad (formerly known as Dreamland Holdings Berhad) as an Accounts Executive in February 1988. He joined CPC/AJI (M) Sdn Bhd as Assistant Accountant in January 1989 and served as the Senior Accountant until June 1996.
He joined AEON Co. (M) Bhd (AEON) as the Finance Manager in July 1996 and was subsequently promoted to the position of Financial Controller in 2002. He was the Senior General Manager in charge of Business Support in January 2008 and the Senior General Manager in charge of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations in February 2010. As the Chief Financial Officer and part of the senior management of AEON and an Executive Director in charge of corporate management, he has oversight on the companys total businesses, strategies, operations and business developments. He retired from AEON on 24 June 2020 as an Executive Director, a position he had held since May 2011.
He has more than 35 years of working experience across a diverse set of industries from auditing, manufacturing and trading, before joining the retail industry.
