He is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in private practice in Kota Kinabalu. He is a member of the Board of Independent Medical Examiners and has appeared as an expert witness in the High Court of Borneo as well as the High Court of Brunei. Besides working as a doctor he is heavily involved in NGO activities. At the moment he is a executive committee member of Mercy Malaysia and has served in Afghanistan, Iraq, North Korea and Sudan. He is also actively involved in conversation and environmental activities and is currently the President of The Sabah Society.
