Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Monash University, Australia. Masters in Business Administration, Cranfield School of Management, United Kingdom. Member of the Institute of Engineers, Malaysia and the Malaysian Chapter of the American Concrete Institute.

Wide experience ranging from manufcturing, customer support,sales and marketing to general management. Joined the Group in 1993 as Deputy General Manager and was appointed General Manager in 1996. In July 1999, he was appointed Marketing Director of the Malaysian Cement Operations, a position he held until his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the Groups's Cement Operations on 1 April 2000, following the integration of the operations of Associated Pan Malaysia Cement Sdn Bhd and Kedah Cement Holdings Berhad. On 1 March 2002c he was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Company and assumed his current position as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
