In 2006, Ms. Phan began her career in corporate finance with Ernst & Young PLT and subsequently, in commercial finance with Phillip Morris International Kuala Lumpur in 2009 as a Budget and Management Reporting Analyst prior to venturing into recruitment for the finance functions for commercial clients with Robert Walters from 2011 to 2013.
Ms. Phan founded Bell Ward in 2015, a specialist recruitment agency based in Kuala Lumpur, focusing mainly on local talents within Malaysia. She specialises in recruiting talents for senior management and top leadership roles, mainly at C-level, Partner and Director levels. She is recognised as a leading recruiter in the finance practice and is very passionate about growing talents into leaders.
Ms. Phan has led Bell Ward team to win multiple awards throughout the years, namely LinkedIn Search & Staffing Talent Engagement Award 2021, LinkedIn Top 25 Most Socially Engaged Staffing Agencies 2017, Human Resources Asia Recruitment Awards 2017 and HR Vendors of the Year Awards 2016. She was also nominated for EY Entrepreneur of the Year Malaysia 2018 under the Women Entrepreneur Category.
