Janet Yellen will caught between rock & a stone. Trump (GOP) says he will replace Janet. Any hikes might hurt US economy. US Fed Reserve bank has been harping on the rates for the last 1-2 years. Every body is tired off their rhetoric

wellington was a net seller NOT because of AA business. Wellington trim down their Asian equities. Europe is uncertain with Brexit ( Britain vote on 23 June ) Possibilities with MSCI revising the weightage on China shares. Wellington is slowly chewing back asian equities

looking at the past price trends. somebody ? is slowly accumulating and bang the volume goes up. after that price will go sideway 1-2 days. bang higher again. something is brewing. this is just my guess

FF looks things at a different angle. if we invest AA at MYR2.30 or USD 55.825 cents ( 4.12 to a dollar ) 6 months down the road. Ringgit strenghten back to 3.90 to a dollar. AA trading at 2.80 or 71.795 cents .

FF makes a killing on capital gain and currency. This is just an assumption that the USD will weaken back to a more realist level after the November Presidential elections. Whether Trump or Clinton wins ( yet to be seen ) cheers

quite true AA and AAX has built their branding. everybody can flys tag. Chinese tourist , Thais, Indonesians and Indians now plan their holidays thru budget airlines. Gen X & Y ( big markets for leisure holiday ) AA and AAx is an icon whether we like it or not ( outpace even SIA )

if you put in 1 billion into the company. you must know something you and me are now aware. sometimes businessmen look at things differently. they look at the business 1 year from now how things will work out. they dont look at the share price. what's important is the business .

from the words ( KM) look like they apportion some of the profits in this qtr into the next qtr . this in accounting term stagger the impact and even out any fluctuations

this counter needs some IB promotions. sitting at value rich land valuations at meru, klang ( next to community colledge) long time never revalue. NTA > 3.00

the change of Tune CEO ( Cho Namjick) has somewhat affected the share price. Cho Namjick new replacement is far more important ( this is what i feel ) CEO come and go but the business model must be strong and viable. Tune insurance is a solid business. 5 cents dividend is reasonable compared to other > 1 dolar counter

turnaround story with 100% jet fuel hedge at USD 54 per barrel ( 2016). Expect more upside

mango 2. agreed on your reasoning but i beg to differ on one point. Singaporeans think (think ) they are the best and brightest. If you look at Temasek how they screw big (lost big) on Citibank and other US investments. Its shows you need to be street smart and NOT rely on what your phd professor taught you.

All airlines hedge their jet fuel. The percentage ? subject how they look at the market. going up or lower. irrespective of up and down . most airlines have long term supliers for their jet fuel. they dont buy on spot basis. typically they hedge 3 months forward , more aggresive 6 months rolloing contracts

today 4.12 against the dollar but remember the lAST ROUND 4.42 (dec last year ) more people will travel to visit Asian countries . US, EC, UK and Sinaporeans all said cheap cheap. Bad for consumer but good for tourist related spots.

some view are too negative. i beg to differ that the price will collapse after the result is out. All consensus points to a straight reversal from negative to positive cash flow arising from lower fuel costs, currency gains, better utilisation, increased long haul flights, last but not the least . AA arrangement with AAx on their lease back and the training flight centre. It's a long haul for AAx to return back to 80 - 90 ( after rights pricing ). Nothing is impossible. just keep my fingers cross

increased utilisation and e-visa for China visitors is good & beneficial for AA and AAx group

JF Research too conservative in their approach. think out of the box. increase passenger under AA group means more passenger flight cover under tune. AA groups passenger traffic has increased Y-o-Y 20 %. They need to factor in the additional growth
