Cameroon promises to cap immigration at 100K . Now latest figs shows 300 K migrated to England. British are snobbish they think still they are the best & brightest. Just like football they think (in their mindset ) english football is the best. ha-ha-ha

it's still dollar and sense. Britain contributed close to 10 billion yearly to the EU ( behind Germany & France ) barely received less than < 10 billion between 2010- 2104. If a Yes vote @ remain. Britain would renegiotiate certain monetary terms

i dont have the figs with me but the big Q ? is the settlers better off before the listing or after FGV listing. Thus the settlers (themselves) from Peninsular right to East Malaysia have to answer.
Prior to listings. Koperasi Felda (I believed ) pay out good yearly bonus & dividends to all settlers. After listing the transformation into a corporate entity has somewhat muted their social responsibilities.
Let's not talk about selected localised incentives ( eg Pekan district ) we need to look at the broader picture. Hopefully, people reading this blog can share their thoughts

keeping cash is safe but not productive. find alternative option to invest. if keeping cash at the bank(FD )lock in for the past 6-7 yearsat say 3-4 % p.a. You have missed out the property boom which sky rocket 200% (app) from Year 2009 till now.
This is why generally anaysis do not really favour those conservative companies who keep lots of cash reserve at the bank and not investing it or paying back to their long suffering minority shareholders.

the PP (AA) to TF and KM at 1.84 will give TF/& KM leverage on their bridging loan financing. TF and KM maybe has other plans (which we are not aware) at this point of time. they are playing close to their hearts

as any licensed planner will tell you they are not allowed to take any position whatsoever manner to avoid any conflict of interest. what they do AND still do ( i.e. some ) might buy in another person account to avoid any issue. If they have any interest in any particular stocks or holdings they need to declared their vested interest. this is to share what the industry generally practised. i am not in a position to say who is morally right or wrong

agreed. stock picking is not evrybody cup of tea. you cannot be attached to any stock with sentiment or follow blindly the so called stock guru picks. it's important certain criteria is set (standards ) before you invest your time and money .

it's strictly dollar and cents. Britain is 3 largest contributor after Germany and France. annually Britain contributed almost £10 billion annually to EU ( but rcvd only less than < £10 Biĺion between 2010-2014) based on statistics from Brexit. they might negotiate a smaller quantum if they remain in the EC

car is a luxury. you can buy or opt for public transport. it's choice (option) we choose ourselves. any FP will tell you what's good debt and bad debt ( i dont think i need to repeat )
comparing car prices between different era is like comparing of our ex's . you need to factor the earning power at that point of time and NOT using a standard variant . you must calculate the prevailing rate of prices between the popoular car model and their resale value.
i always tell people if you can afford a BMW why complain about the road tax. if you want a model to be gf (why complain about high mainteance ) My apology to any ladies reading this

The 6% GST is suppose to channel back to the people (i.e. better health-care, more scholarship, better infra, more schools, reduce corporate & personal taxes and aid etc ) what we have seen everything reverse or slashed except PMO office budget. GST tax is used to fund Government ever increasing operating expenditure. No way Government going to reduce GST

technology enhancement and volume is the key to survival. sadly Proton has neither of this edges against the giants in the global car industry. Being a local entity plus limitation in the R&D means Proton can end up only doing rebadgeing jobs. Malaysia whether we like it or not are they living in a state of self denial

FGV has a complicated link with the Government and the settlers. FGV need to pay Koperasi Felda for the rights of their land ( every year > 240 Million ) as part of the business arrangement. This is tough for any business ( where you need to balance the social needs and your company bottom line )
