there is no wining formula. even warren buffee was wrong in investing Amerian Airlines. there are times you are spot on the counter but due to reasons beyong your control timing is off. even a long term investor ( 3-5 )years may not see the result. we mere mortals holding period are even shorter. Not every counter move up and jump down (eg. XOX) maybe a slow starter (KTC). only listed on 25th November ( less than 2 weeks ) after 2 weeks then see how it perform

his style is different from everyday investor. Mr Khoon doesnt track his stocks or their daily movements. he is more of a passive investor compared to a average punter ( short term players ). win or loss he can still sleep at night without battling an eyelip. what he shares is based on his own experience ( you need to understudy and do your homework ) and not follow 100% blindly.

KTC compared to Red Sena IPO. this is something tangible whereas red sena is still at the initial planning stage

we need to look at external and the local market. if a bull-run (close one eye ) and you can still make money. Monitor KTC and see how the counter close for the day.

KTC is well known in Sabah /Sarawak. IPO at 15 but now trading at 30. need to wait how the counter absorbed the 732 Million(bumi ) and 855 Million (public ) under the IPO.

profit taking is part and parcel. what's important is whatever selling the contra's ( T +4 ) is well absorbed. Need to wait in the afternoon session whether XOX have the leg to move higher.

based on the candlestick chart. it's a bullish signal if it's open morning at 67 and closed higher . chart reading is technical but price spike is more on volume & momentum play.

the early days of DIGI also boasted by telenor of Norway. Now cannot rule out XOX being targeted by Singapore telco. Our Ringgit sliding from 3.4 to 4.3 against USd. Makes XOX a attractive theme play. Of late there is a number of changes in the shareholdings. Cannot rule out entry of new substantial block of institutional shareholders. This is just my personal analysis

share consolidation will reduce the percentage of free float. share price will spike up (after consolidation )if the major shareholders have something in mind ? need to look at existing and prevailing conditions.
