What a perverse old man. If he really wants to do good, he should stop speculating in the stock market and do real charity that everyone can hear, feel and touch. And do it while he's still alive instead of his smoke and mirrors game that sounds so much like a master con job. Just put RM 30 million in a charitable foundation that is open and transparent about what it does and where records are scrupulously kept. Don't shout about partial (one year?) funding for 300 students who have to borrow most of the funds to finish their education anyway. That is no scholarship. How much is that per student? You already used them repeatedly for publicity and got more than your money's worth.

Wlifully ignoring that his 2014 stock picks JTiasa dropped from Rm2.40 to 1.39 and Mudajaya from Rm2.50 to 1.17 and that he sold his tens of millions shares quietly. Many naive investors bought what he sold and will curse him to his grave.

Conman Koon is a very clever trickster with smoke and mirror illusions that impact impressionable minds. If he stop bragging repeatedly and start real good deeds, I will be the first to laud his contributions. Start with RM30 million vested in charitable foundation in his name and where he is trustee. Let us see some real money doing good work out in the open.

Conmen are long on self promotion but short on actual deeds. Also try to ride on others good reputation and constantly trumpet own small contributions. Which philanthropist tells you he will donate all wealth to charity after his death but do stock speculation during his remaining years? Probably a fake one. Use a little money to help poor students and then milk the ensuing goodwill to enhance reputation. How can anyone verify such claims of charity and $ numbers? Very suspicious. Get an audit firm to verify. By the way, what happened to RM30 million to build hostels at UTAR? Why not use it to start KOON YEW YIN charitable foundation now as someone has suggested while you still breathe. Put your money where your mouth is. A solid RM30 mil vested now is more appreciated than a RM100mil promise in 10 years. At least people know the money is there and the intention is real. As it is, there is too much smoke and mirrors.

Why keep blowing own trumpet repeatedly? Answer: Has a really old and bottomless superego. At least now, he no longer claims to be noble. Everyone should watch out when Bursa announcements come out when he sells Latitude, VS or Lii Hen. You better sell too. For Rsawit, JTiasa, Mudajaya, he quietly sold tens of million shares and now these stocks are down 40% from followers price. Those who still hold curse him.

KYY is no super investor though he likes to make out he is one. He is actually a big speculator by retail standards, taking a large position in selected stocks first and then start promoting them. As for his charitable activities, lots of bragging but little money actually goes out. Some people think he is an old conman, recycling himself time and time again with each new stock he picks. His present promotions are Latitude and VS Industry. Woe to those buy at current levels for when he sells, the stock price will drop like a stone. Ask those who followed him in RSawit, JTiasa or Mudajaya.

He claim this and he claim that. But who really knows? Why make small money speculating on smallish Bursa when as a super investor you can play with the big boys on HKSE? This Koon fella sounds more like a confidence trickster or boaster going by his sense of self importance.

When you have more money than you require, you should donate the surplus to deserving charities in your lifetime and not claim to want to do it only after you die. For accountability and transparency, form a charitable trust, vest RM20 million in it, so people can see you actually put your money where your mouth is. The colour of your money is important to convince skeptics. As it is, all this shouting about helping poor students is not transparent and does not demand great expense. How much for one foundation year in UTAR anyway? And so much publicity milked from it.
