Auditors would not screw clients for no reason BECAUSE IT IS THE CLIENTS who hire them. In 1MDB's case one can argue they might have turned a blind eye to continue being hired, which eventually led to them being criticized for not flagging potential issues.

In this case it is the opposite. They are flagging the inability of SD in providing satisfactory answers to queries. NOW THEY HAVE ZERO INCENTIVE TO DO THAT UNLESS SHIT IS REALLY SERIOUS.
