According to my buddy who good in this field. The test kit normally comes with nasal swab. To produce nasal swab by 3D printing is very expenses (not profitable) and in small scale of production (for emergency use as the nasal swab is normally patented). Just google nasal swab, then you will know that a lot of organization rushed to produce to meet the urgent demand of this product. Unless K1 go for standard manufacturing of nasal swab which may need years to setup (although nasal swab is Class I medical devices but can be exempted from pre-market notification requirements if accepted by authority for emergency use).
The ventilators ( a life support equipment ) development and manufacturing announced may need years to get certifications!
