Clarification: I need to highlight that the correction that I think would b over by end of this week is this "major correction" that v r going through at the mmt. I forsee the Upward trend to continue on it's course after this and there will also b some other corrections along the way which hopefully will b v mild ones most likely to b sideways and within a small range bound. gcke: Firstly welcome to the alcom forum. Are u also on the trip to ALCOM GOLDEN PALACE? From your comments I believe that u based your investment entry point on tech charts. That is a very good starting pt. I wouldn't say u r being pessimistic when u commented that it WILL PROBABLY continue it's downward trend. That's what the chart indicated n that's how r presenting it to us. The only difference is that DON'T expect it to continue for AWHILE. My take is that the longest duration for this correction will b by the end of the week due to the following factors ( which I may b proven wrong):
1) The previous week's T+2, 3 n 4 traders would have been wipe out by the end of this week.
2) If the price correction were to continue till the end of the week, the correction would b quite severe enough for investors to ponder over the weekend. Once the realization has struck that the correction was overly drastic, legit investors would come back in droves to drive up the share price at a discounted price.
3) The tech charts r still showing that counter IS STILL V MUCH on the UPTREND. NO trend reversal has taken place nor is it likely to b affected even if it were to decline for the next 2-3 days of trading! If trend reversal were to happen over the next few days of trading, then the rsi would revert to a "drastically oversold" position which again would entice a lot of legit investors to come n have a gala time scooping up the shares at a BIG BIG BARGAIN.........MEGA SALES as yuanlong57 puts it. So the ALCOM GOLDEN PALACE destination will b kept intact!!
4) Having said all these I would still remind all ALCOMATES to tread veeery carefully indeed n b mindful that the correction has not subside yet. There r always opportunities in any corrections and I shall certainly take advantage of them through observations of the daily trading trend. For those brave n daring people be a cautious and SMART daredevil. The question of when to enter is the $6 million question. This u guys will have to decide as no one can safely say that that's the end of the correction.
5) Besides this I wouldn't think the majority shareholders would want to see their shares drop below a certain reasonable level. All responsible management would want to hold it to a reasonable value for many reasons which I would not get into.......
6) So to all ALCOMATES I WOULD SAY THIS. There is light at the end of the short tunnel so cheer up!

It is still in an UPTREND mode no doubt. As for the immediate term I would say that it is in the consolidation stage now. Whether correction will end 2morrow depends on how the trade trend goes 2day n 2morrow. But I would guess it won't b too soon. 1) All Alcomates must b veery PATIENT in order to reap your ALCOM GOLDEN PALACE REWARDS. ( if u r a true alcom investor)
2) Be very careful treading through the week's trading. Opportunity to buy at a cheaper price is there for the brave n daring but pls b careful with ur entries.
3) I believe that the speculators would get penalised.
4) The UPTREND for mid and long term is still v much intact. Immediate term MAYB consolidation ( sideways trade) . As I mentioned b4 beware of the T+2,3 n 4 traders previously.

Wow. What a day of flushing being carried out by the maestro. As I mentioned b4 in response to yuanlong57 posers last weekend I believe the major part of this trading week will b in a consolidation stage (sideways trading ). Again to all Alcomates PLS TREAD CAREFULLY n b FULLY AWARE of the T+2,3 &4 traders/speculators from last week's trade. I also mentioned that more than likely these traders/speculators will b punished or penalised. Having said that the total volume traded has shrunk which is a good signal indicating that there r also a fairly good proportion of true INVESTORS who r both brave n daring.
Hopefully this "noises" will die down soon n v can all b on our journey to ALCOM GOLDEN PALACE. As a saying by Warren Buffet goes: " The market is like a casino where people r too emotional and boozes around BUT if v can stick to PEPSI n dismiss all those crazy going ons n noises then v WILL B ALRIGHT" provided we have done our homework thoroughly n B VEEEEERRRY PATIENT.

Why should the shareholders shoulder the burden of their negligence? I would hope that the authorities concerned would take action on the company so that in future negligence such as this DO NOT RECUR n at the same time to protect the interests of the shareholders. I also hope that the management of this company sees this n take appropriate actions by apologizing to all shareholders n promising that such negligence will not occur again in the future.......etc......etc.

yuanlong57: whatever the reasons for the underprovision, that is not a legitimate excuse as it has cost the present supporters of the stock dearly through a drastic drop in price. That is also the main reason I do not totally trust FA alone when doing my investing. Look at all the CHINA counters like CSL , CAP, etc.... u know what I mean. Anyway to cut a long story short the senior management n BOD should b held FULLY accountable to the shareholders for what I would refer to as BLUNDERS!!! Furthermore I think all listed companies should have a FIXED policy of dividend payment to shareholders whenever they have announced their full audited reports annually.

melvintcs: My comments r based on my observations of the daily trend of the counter as well as the TA charts. I do look at the FA but to me that's NOT AS CRITICAL AS TA. History data of the counter is also a good guide. After all due diligence only do I stick my head in. Note that I do not encourage speculation. On the other hand I do not fall in love with a stock either. As far as I m concerned there is no time table on how long I will hold onto a stock. I'll usually let the market decide 4 me when I should get in n out!!. I'll only present my comments as I see it for participants infos only. Gud morning all ALCOMATES. What an exciting short trading week. How was the ride? No heart attacks I hope. The week still ended up 8sen higher than the previous week. I will give u my take on the week's trade trend as I see it. There r 2 observations which I made wrt the trading trend for last week. The GOOD NEWS IS that the bullish UPTREND ID STILL V MUCH INTACT but will b a slight breather for the bull. There MAYB a minor correction in the coming week to flush out the traders/speculators. The traders might not b able to come out ahead this time around!!! I would say that this would give the daring and more adventurous investors a chance to stock up on the counter. One word of advice though. Tread CAREFULLY . Mid term n longer terms r still v bullish indeed. That's my take for the weeks trading. I am still taking the trip to ALCOM GOLDEN PALACE. May have to ENJOY the beautiful sceneries as we plod along as the bull MAYB taking a short breather.
