Sorry. Back again. Was checking on some data b4 continuing. Ok here goes:
3 On friday's close there was still a big undone deal of 107k for people queueing up to buy at 1.93. The total vol and no of buyers to sellers were at a ratio of 1.75:1. Guess what this means??? I m sure all u guys r "smart money" people so I will not elaborate on this further.
4 As I mentioned b4 a great stock with great potential will eventually find its own equilibrium in line with the company's worth. N I m sure ALCOM WILL TOO. Where that is, WILL B FOUND AT THE ALCOM GOLDEN PALACE. When it reaches there the market will point it out to us. In the meantime v should just enjoy the trip towards that destination.

Ok. Here goes my take on Friday's trade :
1 As per my previous threads I have been saying that the counter was about to " break away v soon" n it really did yesterday with the biggest break away to date!!! Why do I say to date? B cos I forsee another "earth quake" of the same or even higher order of magnitude!!!!!!!!
Do u guys know how earthquakes behave??? They come successively!!!!! Get the drift guys????
2 U guys know what the scary part is?? I previously mentioned a tp=2.28 b4 the 9th August. Looking at the way the trend is moving this MAY EVEN B HAPPENING SOONER THAN I EXPECT!!! The new projection after the earth shattering event yesterday is TP=2.40!!! Even at a price of 2.40 our return is
ROI = 0.32/2.40×100= 13.3% over a 2 mth period!! Still a V V GOOD return is it not??? ( provided everything goes smoothly with the hearing on the 9th)

Tis is a v good morning to wake up to isn't it? After all the excitement yesterday n seeing that my comments have helped provide u guys with more infos for your decision makimg process I felt more that at least all my effort was not in vain!!!
I certainly hope that all of u guys will make some money out of this counter through investment n not speculating in the hope of making a quick buck. As to this date I still maintain that ALCOM STILL HAS PLENTY OF GOOD VALUE IN IT as I pointed out in my previous thread. All GOOD POTENTIAL GROWTH STOCKS WITH GOOD VALUES DO NOT NEED ANY RECOMMENDATIONS FROM ANYONE WHETHER TO BUY OR SELL!! They will naturally come to an equilibrium price in line with what the company is actually worth. So what is important is when v have bought into stocks of this nature is to have a GOOD TEMPERAMENT N NOT B AFFECTED BY ALL THE NOISES THAT IS TRYING TO DISTRACT US BY PLAYING ON OUR EMOTIONS!!! Sometimes being too intelligent can have their drawbacks if we cannot control our emotions.
We then start thinking of selling first n buy back later n think that we can make more this way. How many of us can do that????
When it is low we start to think MAYB it can go lower........how low is low NOBODY KNOWS. So we all get trapped with this kind of "FEAR SYNDROME". Thats why eventually we never buy back after we have sold even though that was the INTENT!!!
So that is also why all u guys NEED TO DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK B4 STICKING YOUR HEAD IN. Once u have made that decision u need to b able to B ABLE TO CONTROL YOUR EMOTIONS FROM ALL THE DISTRACTIONS AROUND U. Better still just pretend that nothing is going on and just "DUMB DUMB HOLD"!!! Then when u awake u wiĺl find that "3 Being DUMB AFTER DUE DILIGENCE IS BETTER THAN BEING INTELLIGENT!!!" This applies ONLY WHEN U R INVESTING INTO A STOCK WITH GOOD VALUE NOT those that r speculative in nature!
Having said that I also would like to remind people NOT TO FALL IN LOVE WITH ANY STOCKS. With a good stock u will b able to see when the equilibrium price has been reached. The market will revealed that to us. U don't need to b a ROCKET SCIENTIST to know that.
Anyway just digest what I have said n give it some thoughts. I hope that I have given u guys enough headaches to ponder on early this morning after all the excitement yesterday. Have a nice weekend n b sure to recharge your batteries for a longer haul!! Cheerio.

MrPauper: No problem whatsoever as long as u r SINCERE IN YOUR COMMENTS. Even if I do not dish out my comments I m very sure that b4 too long there will b plenty of "smart money" people who r way far more intelligent than me who wil start picking up these shares based on the ROI that they can get from INVESTING in this counter. The only reason I can think off as to why this counter is still lagging behind in terms of pricing is maybe due to the fact that it wasn't so noticeable due to the small amount of shares floating in the market hence the smaller volume of shares traded thus making it LESS NOTICEABLE!!! Anyway whatever the reason is is not important.
As far as I am concerned I DO SINCERELY BELIEVE THAT THIS COUNTER HAS GIVEN US MAYBE A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY TO INVEST WITH SUCH GREAT VALUE!!
So dissect my comments to the fullest and reason out yourselves. A counter with such great
Value DO NOT NEED ANY RECOMMENDATION for people to buy! People will flock naturally to it when they realised the potential of the company n what benefits they can derive from INVESTING with the company.
Of course there r many other reasons as to why it has reached a historical high this time around. These I have mentioned b4 so I would not repeat them here. I guess even without knowing the details of the company, the historical high price itself would have given all of us a clue!!! Prices don't lie. It will eventuaĺly reached its own equilibrium pricing to match the company's worth! Anyway better dun trust anyone and DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH N THEN COMMENT!

MrPauper: Another piece of advice 4 u. Never accuse anyone especially alcomates of trying to make money out of those latecomers. For your infos I blieve there r some alcomates who have bought their shares at a higher price ( even with divs) compared to what it is today n they r still holding onto their shares up to this day. If they want to sell n make a loss that's entirely up to them. If they sell n make a profit I will congratulate them as long as they r happy doing it. My infos is to highlight things that they may have missed out for whatever reasons. People BUY N SELL FOR DIFFERENT REASONS BUT FOR FRESHIES I would certainly hope that their seed capital for investments would grow and NOT SHRINK!! If their seed capital starts shrinking very soon they would not only lose their hard earned money but they will soon b out of the market! Not only that, some may have a night marish time as well. I have seen this happening to some friends, the details of which I would not go through here. So MY SINCERE HOPE IS THAT ALL OF US HERE WILL MAKE SOME MONEY ( big or small is a separate matter) OUT OF WHAT I PERCEIVE TO B A GOOD INVESTMENT!!!

Do u guys know what baffles me the most. In my previous thread I think I have already shown u guys the simple math on why u should invest in this counter. Let me resummarise for u guys. OPEN UP YOUR EYES N GREY MATTER PLS.
Assume u bought at historical highest price of 2.32. Assume u bought 50k units.
Capital outlay 50000×2.32= Rm 116,000.00
Div payout already 0.205x50000 = Rm10,250.00
at that time when I mention this cls price=Rm 1.70
Use div to purchase again. 10250÷1.7= 6029 shares. Say 6k addnal shares.
So now u have 56k shares.
Hopefully if everything goes well by the 9th august
court approval n entitlement n payment of 32 sen in Sept, you will get
56,000×0.32 = Rm17, 920.00
Therefore all in ( divs + cap repayment) you get
10250+17920= Rm 28,170.00 within a four month period!
ROI = 28170÷11600×100=24.3%. Where in the whole of bursa stocks can u find this kind of returns???
Even if u were to buy today (ex div) your ROI at cls price of 1.75 would be :
.32/1.75x 100=18.3% Still a very good buy is it not??
Search through the whole of bursa stocks that pays u 18.3 sen within a 2 mth period ( i.e.if everything goes smoothly) and the share price is less than Rm 2.00 then u can call me anything u want!!!!
I have tp=2.28 by the 9th august provided everything goes smoothly with the hearing.Even if the price is 2.28 your ROI is still
0.32÷2.28x100= 14% within a 2 mth period (still v v good right???
So to cut a long story short TP=2.28 will b achievable v quickly once this simple math has SUNK IN!! It really BOGGLES ME WHY PEOPLE R STILL HUNTING AROUND FOR SOME OTHER COUNTERS WHEN THE GOLDEN EGG IS RIGHT B4 YOUR VERY OWN EYES!!!@@@???????

In that way I can also see where the counter is taking us. I forsee an immediate tp= 2.28 by the 9th August. ( i. e date for confirmation by the high court for 32sen repayment).
