HEVEA is getting more excited !

1. Chinese and Japanese customers before the first order was even
placed. Its Chinese customer base is growing at a rate of 40-50% per annum
and HAVEA is likely to reduce its allocation for E1 boards in favour of much
higher-margin E0/super E0 boards for supply to China.
It is also mulling apressing line extension or new pressing line to increase capacity to meet the
strong demand from China.

2. The superiority of its technology was also confirmed by its
competitors during our channel checks.
All of its domestic and most of its
ASEAN-based competitors are not in the E0/super E0 space as only Japanese
regulatory requirements demand such boards.
Given this and the very long and
stringent quality due diligence process, many particleboard manufacturers
prefer to sell lower-margin but higher-volume E1/E2 boards.

3. HAVEA is gaining interest among institutional
investors, which we believe hold a combined 15-20% stake. As HAVEA delivers
on its earnings!

4. HAVEA’s particleboard factory in Gemas is located at the heart of
FELDA’s 300k-hectare rubber plantation, enabling easy access to raw
materials (rubberwood residues)

5. 60% of furniture sales (HeveaPac) are to Japan.
The majority of the
furniture is hollow core and made of wood waste material.
This is
lightweight furniture that is popular in Japan and is a high-margin
product for HeveaPac given the high selling price and low raw material
cost. 1Q is the peak season for HeveaPac as Japanese demand is very
strong in the Dec-Mar period. HeveaPac is also considering new
markets, such as Africa. It has spent RM10m p.a. in the past three years
to increase capacity via greater automation of the manufacturing
process.

觉得不应该除2。
