But meantime do not expect the price to move too much northwards, otherwise they will dump the 900mil shares and take their money back. Must wait till this batch is cleared first

Last few days looks like the selling is baiting the buyer to accumulate and then towards the end of the day they dump large quantities to them.

I am not a fan of Technax. But looking at the play and pattern, it is a good counter to make some money. You just need not be greedy and to get gain is not difficult for this counter. I can assure you that if you can buy at 5 to 5.5 cts now, I am very sure you can make some money by year end. 10 to 20% at least.

It is very obvious that this counter is cover by a strong syndicate and maybe owner so a potential profit is ripe for a big play to come.

If this company can continue to report profit in the next few Q then it can be a buy regardless of the NTA. Think it can be a potential play and easily double your returns

I suspect Hektar is planning to announce a bigger dividend soon. I notice that the main shareholder Hektar Black is mopping up the shares lately.

I think for REITS investment, capital gain is not the thing one should look for. I think it is the wrong way of investing in REIts. You should look at the dividend first then capital gain and Hektar is not one in my radar now with their dividend payment. Investing in REITS is on how to maximise your dividend first and capital gain is a bonus next. So the share price gain or not becomes a secondary issue. For me this is how i manage my REITs. I buy say this YTLREITS at 7% dividend, which I say is very good. I match equal quantity under my margin. Margin I only pay 3.43 % now ie BLR minus 2%. With this I effectively make 7%+7%-3.5%= 10.5% dividend on my investment. I think this return is good and I always live happy just on these simple practice. even on my EPF I do this and my yearly net gain is always 1 or 2% higher than what is declared. In summary this is called leverages.

hahaha... true. Maybe he mean that day losing power and not the long term trend. But anytime it should be 1 dollar soon. Maybe up to 1.20 by mid of next year

EmployeeInvestor... yes, I did rotate almost all of my share out of Hektar already now. If I feel they are better then I may come back later. I have no sentiments on any REITs. If they good later I will come back later. I cannot see much of it at this moment. At this moment I think their property is not that good too and online shopping will dent this sector. For examples when I buy into YTL they are at 78 to 80 cts region. I sold my Hektar at 56-57 cts region. With the reopening of the economy, I am more on the lookout for other REITs that should be able to capitalised on this rather than Hektar at this moment. But it is up to you. Getting less than 2-3% on Hektar is not my cup of tea.

Remember that we are investors and not social welfares. If we feel other counters give better returns we should have the option to switch. Any reason why I should stick with it through thick and thin ?.

U see this counter mostly are Institutional investors. Then you know you cannot be wrong. Mostly almost all fund manager and Insurance companies are buying this counter. so where could you go wrong buying this counter

But never under estimate the owner. After all we heard he is the son in law you of know who in EC ? and this guy used to be the lacky of Datuk Soh CW in Singapore. So a play once a while is highly possible... so buy at low keep, make 15 to 20% or sometimes double the return per year on this counter is not impossible.

It does paint a rosy picture but the action do not seems to be reflected in the dividend given to shareholders.

At this price just buy. It will be more than RM 1 in less than 2 years plus dividend

Actually I have already rotate some of it out to YTL and ARR Reits. I think when the market improve, they will be the first to benefit. My only regret is I did not sell all of it. if I know the management team is sleeping I would have sell all of it.

Ask yourself a question. Why do we buy REITS ?. If it is not the dividend, then what else ?. if they cannot pay a reasonable amount equal that of KWSP, then sell and get out and buy something better. Better put the money into KWSP then. We are not aiming for capital gain in the REITS and ask yourself, why the management keep paying themselves higher and higher fees every year by inflating the asset value. What leave is as shareholders ? and gone are our dividend.

Better careful.. if got profit can take. 8 is before the bonus issue of 2 for 1. After the split the price is about 2,80. Now everyone is jumping into the glove manufacturing business. It is not like b4 anymore. More players and prices are also under pressure now.

Looking at the counter, the NTA is above 1.20 and share prices is trading at 60 cts and with such low dividend, it makes more sense to fire the management team sell off the whole company and asset and finally distribute the money back to all the shareholders. At least this would be the best option under the current scenario. Just reading the latest report gives me the feeling that the management team lack foresight and nothing will be expected from them in the coming months or years.

This stock is a long play stock. If you are speculating for short term play, then chances of getting burn is high
