Mabel can wait until CapitalA is lifted from PN17 as my holding cost is below current trading price. Now is not the time to sell as it is trading below all the targeted Moving Average. If it breaches the 200 Moving Average maybe Mabel will sell perhaps above RM 1.00. Maybank Target is RM 1.01.

As Paul said, "Elephant walks slowly but as usual reach the final destination".

Fortunately Mabel has been in and out of this counter many times. This counter has been giving Mabel about 15% ROI (excluding previous two fantastic Dividend).

Satu Sembilan Delapan (“SSD”), comes with 5,384 ha mature oil palm and its own palm oil mill in Kalimantan, achieved a 140% higher pre-tax profit of RM29.29 million last year due to stronger commodity price. KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 14): Sapura Energy Bhd has been granted a second extension of up to May 31 next year to submit its Practice Note 17 (PN17) regularization plan, which was supposed to be due on Nov 30, 2023.

“The extension of time would enable the company to continue building a robust regularization plan based on the ongoing debt restructuring exercise, which is well underway following the confirmation for its proposed restructuring scheme approval-in-principle from the Corporate Debt Restructuring Committee,” said Sapura in a stock exchange filing on Thursday (Dec 14).

2022 was a tough year for Sap. Despite their shortcomings, the AR report shows that they paid a total of RM 18.9 million in income tax for the year, which is equivalent to 2.4% of its profit before tax of RM 779.6 million. More to cum..

Kuala Lumpur, 13 December 2023 : Summary of Q3 FY2024 financial results:

Revenue of RM1.10 billion
EBITDA of RM211 million
PATAMI of RM31 million
Order book at RM5.4 billion

Sapura Energy Berhad (“Sapura Energy”) and its subsidiaries (“the Group”) today announced the 3rd consecutive quarters financial results for the third quarter ended 31 July 2023 (“Q3 FY2024”), extending the positive performance shown since the beginning of the financial year. For the first nine-months ended 31 October 2023 (9M FY2024), the Group posted a revenue of RM3.2 billion. Cumulative PATAMI more than doubled to RM220 million in 9M FY2024 compared with about RM100 million in the same period of financial year 2023 (“9M FY2023”).

This is achieve despite multiple operational challenges which include escalating project and financing costs, as well as the lack of access to bank guarantees and working capital. These effects were more than offset by favourable foreign exchange differences recognised during the same period.

Currently, more than 70 percent of its order book are for contracts outside of Malaysia. As of the third quarter of FY2024, the Group’s Order Book stood at RM5.4 billion while the Order Book of its joint venture and associate entities stood at RM3.6 billion. Ten of its rigs are currently under contract in Malaysia, Thailand, and Africa. Sapura Energy recently opened a regional office in Woking, United Kingdom, to manage and pursue projects in West Africa and the Mediterranean.

The Group continues to progress its restructuring plan, which includes efforts to resolve its unsustainable level of debt and amounts owed to trade creditors. Sapura Energy has received confirmation from the Corporate Debt Restructuring Committee that at least seventy-five percent (75%) of the financiers of its approximately RM 10.3 billion in Multi-Currency Financing Facilities (“MCF Financiers”) have provided the requisite approval-in-principle for a proposed debt restructuring scheme (“PRS”). The approval in principle will facilitate court-convened meetings with all its creditors.

The confirmation marks a significant milestone in Sapura Energy’s Reset plan, which includes efforts to address its unsustainable level of debt and amounts owed to trade creditors.

For the second quarter ended July 31, 2023 (2QFY2024), Sapura Energy reported a net profit of RM42.8 million or 0.27 sen per share, against a net loss of RM2.59 million or 0.02 sen per share for 1QFY2024. Revenue slipped slightly to RM1.14 billion from RM1.17 billion.

PNB’s stake in Sapura Energy, held under its various funds, was only 12.16% before the rights issue. It also fully subscribed for the latter’s Islamic redeemable convertible preference shares (RCPS-i), which were part of a RM4 billion cash call — RM3 billion from a five-for-three renounceable rights issue at 30 sen per share, and RM1 billion via a two-for-five renounceable rights issue of new RCPS-i at 41 sen each.

In simple term that's PNB cost without taking into account of the 12.16% before the right issues is between 30 to 41 sen per share. As long as Mabel's cost is below (way way below) the PNB Cost, Mabel can continue to Goyang kaki...

Fortunately, Mabel does not freeze like a monk. Mabel has been and out of this Battleship with a healthy double digit profits..

Results in line. 3Q23 net profit of MYR185m (+2.3% QoQ, +4.7% YoY) brought the 9M23 total to MYR590.1m (+8% YoY) – this was broadly in line with expectations at 76-78% of our and Street’s estimates. 9M23 revenue grew 12.5% YoY. This was mostly led by 49% higher revenue for the hotel segment while the retail segment revenue grew 6% thanks to its higher occupancy rate. Interest expense only increased slightly as 83% of the group’s borrowings are on a fixed rate. MYR1bn (44%) of KLCCP Stapled’s borrowings are due for refinancing in FY24 – management is confident that the average cost of debt could be lower than the current 4.6%.

Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad Declares Final Single Tier Dividend for the Financial Year Ended 30 September 2023

The Board of Directors of Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad has declared a final single tier dividend of 40 sen per ordinary share of KLK for the financial year ended 30 September 2023.

Lady Sapura may surprise Mabel with a strong up-tick in Profit in coming QR since profit will Not be pull-down by Forex loss. This is based on Mabel Palm-oil Exporting Companies which didn’t report any forex loss. Earnings that have not been captured in last QR will be reported this QR and across the Board Bursa Report until Friday indicating Raw Material Inflation is sliding Downwards.
