@rentmyheart, exactly, release old news one follow another one, instead of consolidate and announce together, it is not make sense at all, investor also not stupid, the reaction on the news looks pathetic. but got one exception, one idiot bought half million worth of share which equal to 25% of transaction today prior closing.....i don't think any small fly brave enough to invest such a big amount of money into a PN17 company.

what is in their mind, made belated announcement one by one, investor are not stupid, just sell of the company...30 million loan due by this year and extension of principle repayment due on year end, worst still the war ship still idle, just sell the company, the longer it drag the cheaper it will be.

2017 net profit is 126 million, so if they need to pay RM50 million to issuer in year 2018, expecting profit would drop around 30% ++

this Saga has been drag since last year from 50 cent until 13.5 cent, if the CEO drag further, he would need to sell cheaper, he should make decision deliberately and timely, drag longer bring no befit to him and the company, most importantly the stakeholder like us.

i am curious how this counter would play out with the strong and consistent promoted by @calvintaneng...monitor closely.

From the news....The current Barakah contract value stands at RM225 million, of which 70 percent are works in the Sarawak waters.

if you exclude the 166 million from the extension contract announced recently, only left 60 million , so little, if CEO still refuse to compromise.....die lo

Samling invested 57million into Barakah, i reckon that Samling would be the white knight, i speculate that they has made the offer but pending Daud to accept..crossed finger.

totally agree, hope the GCEO make a deliberately decision for the sake of company bring in a strategy partner with a compromise deal, i believe the GCEO also don't want to fell in PN17, it will cost him more....

@boldrun88, yeah, FIC ceased as substantial shareholder on 8-Jun which a month ago, how much they still holding as a today, i believe less than 5 million.....

a strong buy recently already indicate that the deal is closing ....NTA is above 20cent which is 45% higher than current price.

SERBADK is one of the potential buyer/partner for Barakah....as mentioned by the GCEO, he planning to sell portion of his share and looking strategy partner to bit for more project and as well as join own the idle boat.....don't forget extension of the principle repayment is due in 2019, so Barakah need a deal by this quarter before the company financial get worsen.
