Now, Enquest has validate it's prospect...Then, it's safely assume that they are going to pay full charter soon to Armada. Even if the earnings aren't report in the next quarter, it definitely will the one after.
Just the question is, if you will still be able to get at this price. Yes, you will. I foresee a sell down by institutions to buy off from panic sellers and then sell back to the market when earnings materialize.
Because in the market, there are more people reading i3 investor than the company's prospectus and balance sheet. (FACT).

I thnk Issy is from CIMB bank...and he has no more shares to sell down? Just my random guess...
It "might" be flattish...but the prospect is good...
Those OnG counters that are still profitable when it was USD 45 per barrel are gonna make better profits with USD60 per barrel.
Hibiscus, Yinson didn't rocket for no reason...

For a good business, how high is high le?
For a bad business, how low is low le?
Risk is just a matter if you know what you are doing. If my information is correct, then, DUFU will report good earnings in Q2/Q3. But maybe not Q1. By that time, Uncle John is gonna say "got support at RM1.80, high risk". But Uncle John will forget that he once said that when DUFU is having a support RM1.17.

Uncle John, why bother queueing if u r not buying part of good business...got support then don’t want liao?

Dufu is not a tech stock...it’s industrial product...they don’t own any “tech” and they are not selling any tech...
Their product are services in manufacturing bits and pieces of electronic component....
But from manufacturing standpoint, it’s still cheap...

But selling Heng Yuan and buy VIS was a bad bad bad move...
My money didn't come in time...else, would hv pump additional fund into HengYuan at RM10-11...And make easy 33% return in a month....

Price can't go down but only go up...Agree leslieroycarter, should hv sold before Ex date, then buy back after...
Company fundamental is not only remained strong. It's getting stronger. Can make money from market sentiments by selling before ex-date and buy low from panic seller after ex-date for solid fundamental growth.

I was hoping someone here could disagree and we can have proper discussion on educating each other. Sometimes, we only want to see what we want to see. That's may not be the full details of the picture.
I will however recommend VIS. I forgot to check on VIS. Despite dilution, latest QR report increased in EPS. I still combing through the report if they hv sold something and if the trade is beneficial to the company.

If you are a day trader, the easiest thing for you to do to get advantage is actually shouting "sell, buy or run". If he is willing work abit harder, then he gets a super-outdated link that support "sell, buy or run". For this counter, I believe that would be the incident from Sept, 2016.
Unless someone here, has access to concrete financial material, I wouldn't be too bothered with day to day fluctuation. I only work 4 times a year when my counters are publishing their QR report.

@PW888, This is my humble point of view, The company took years to stabilize it's business. The profit for past years was erratic. Until last 4 quarters, it has stabilize at about EPS 4 at about profit margin of 15%.
As long as the loyal customer is doing well, it's very unlikely DUFU won't. I don't think DUFU has massive plan on expanding as they kept paying dividend. Let say they maintain 50-50 sharing, DPS would be 6-8sen per year, given investment price of RM1, that's a good 6-8% return. As for immediate gain, it's currently trading slightly under value at PE8, if the market average is PE 10, there is a potential immediate 25% gain. As for what period, I won't know. As TA fellas bila mau promote some weird "doji" or "head & shoulder". If it hits PE 12, I will exit as it has overvalued unless there are sign of EPS is going to improve coming quarters.
As for capturing Notion, market share...We don't really know what's their deal, even less about their compliance to standards. Let's just say it's one off thingy and it's an outlier. As for the sharebuy back, what I foresee is they try to cushion the impact on reduced EPS from increasing inventories if they are handling Notion's orders. I suspect next QR, u will see slightly smaller EPS with increase inventories/operational expenses. But Q1,Q2 '18 should report pretty fantastic result. If annualized EPS hits 20sen for 2018, PE8, PE9, PE10 will be RM1.6, RM1.8 and RM2.0. Else, collect 4sen a year from RM1.2 investment isn't too shabby.
I'm too noob. I only study simple business that I can understand and try to forecast their earning. E.g. what they do, what is it price, how much it cost, what's the margin, and if there are too much debts. I don't pay much attention on if they are expanding or securing big ass project. I mean, alot of business can secure billion dollar worth of project and lose billion dollar at the same time. The business is too complex for me to understand.

If it’s not because of loan over 2015, 2016, they could easily increase EPS 25%-30%
And if u guys bother dig deeper, there are more people owing him money than BA owes people money. If BA were to charge interest, BA would hv made even more money.
Anyway, thanks Niki for asking the right question that has lead me to make further research. If u r interested, we can discuss further in private.

What I understand from your statement, In a simple term, you are saying for that particular project, (Revenue - Opex - Cost of Finance - Tax = Profit). And you are asking what's the figure for the cost of finance for that particular project. That's kinda tough.
You will need to rub shoulder and have dinner with people from inside.

23/11/2017 16:44
2013, Price average RM2.40
Revenue Q1 - RM488,755k
Revenue Q2 - RM481,230k
Revenue Q3 - RM546,305k
Revenue Q4 - RM556,714k
Now 2017,
Revenue Q1 - RM404,173k
Revenue Q2 - RM694,419k
Revenue Q3 - RM641,391k
Revenue Q4 - RM????k
In fact, if you bother to scroll all the way back to 2011...the last Q2 & Q3, 17 are top 5 highest revenue since 2011. Where exactly is the disappointing part le?
I mean if you are waiting to reload to buy in, then, I will keep my mouth shut and let u have the chance.

I don't know what the hell are you guys thinking...
At the end of 2014, Brent Crude was USD100, EPS 2.29, PE 22 trading at RM2.40...
Now at the end of 2017, Brent Crude is USD45-USD60 (June-Sept), reports EPS 2.11, and price maintains above USD60 (Oct-Dec), another forecasted EPS 2sen if not more, cumulative EPS 7 with conservative PE15 if compared to 2014, the price should re-rate to RM1.05...
In 2014, total EPS for that year was 10.86 sen trading at RM2.40. That was with USD100 per barrel. In 2017, they are making about the same amount of revenue with just USD45-60 perbarrel.
That means, they have improve their operation alot, at least 40% leaner. Year 2015-2017, is tough year for them but they remain very resilient and off-load alot of deadweight.

PE 5, RM1.1...for every dollar u invest, u get 20c earning...if declare 25% earning as dividend, u get 5% for your 1 dollar investment...
If price re-rate to sector average, PE 8 = Rm1.6, PE 9 = Rm1.8, PE 10 = Rm2.0...
QoQ revenue has grown up by 15%...but NP doesn’t increase much...so, it’s just a matter of finding out where did the money go and if it’s gonna make more money...
If they use the revenue to pay their loan...then, cost of finance will comedown... coming QR earning will improve significantly...

jerrynyew, not asking the right question...
The right question is how many people understands what's a good QR report...
Based on what principles that determines a good QR and if the current price is over-value or under-value.
Simplistic view on the balance sheet showed slight increase in revenue, but improved QoQ earning by 78%. The better question is if that profit margin is sustainable.

The blocker could be those call warrant issuer. Need to press the price down.
Strike value for Armada C24 is 0.60, CIMB bank issue at 20% premium of 12sen. Now closing at 16sen. If CIMB bank has to pay all issued warrant, they hv to pay difference of 4 sen per share.
What do you guys think they will do?

company that has potential to make money, operators will try to collect from retailer by suppressing the price by passing left pocket to right pocket will backfire if other retailers intercept it in the process.
The problem here is...if they don't collect enough share, the operators wouldn't hv the incentive to push the price up. But it wouldn't matter, if next QR reports strong earnings as the market price will re-rate itself.

Anyway, ur question is avoid odd lot in warrant, i guess the best move is buy or sell the share with multiples of exercise ratio.
