Even without TauRX, Genting is very good prospects, as from business point of view the worst is over. There was considerable underperformance of the business prior to CV19, even then the valuation would suggest price of 7. Plus, add Las Vegas coming in on stream since then technically it should be more than 7. The you add the prospects of Drug approval then anything could happen. The only issue I see, is the owner share transaction and constant profit taking that may slow things up.

AngTalyor, I am hearing there is a very good chance of getting regulatory approval for the drug. Is it your thinking as well? If it happens is it likely to be by June 2023?

We all know Genting B should be more than 5 at least 5.37 by now! Why is it struggling, compare Genting to other recovery stocks, all way ahead in global markets …yet Genting is struggling to move past 5? Why, ask your self. Look HK, U.K., US to mention few markets where recovery stocks have moved significantly. It is to do with investor and ownership profile and nothing to do with some of the risks which have been touted, in this forum. As to moving to 10 Rm, right now let’s hope it can get past 5! The alternative forgone investing in this counter is significant. Let’s hope Rabbit does the trick!

Being kept in a tight trading pattern. Strange lots of 100 share deals! Let’s see where all this heads. The price is being held for a reason…..it could go either way….hopefully higher and through 5 RM resistance.

We all agree on this forum that Genting is a very good recovery story and has very good prospects given its leveraged position. I am heavily invested, but my concern is with related party transactions as well make up of shareholder base, which has no doubt impacted the performance. Let’s hope CNY, brings robust share performance matching Gentings undoubted prospects.

Let’s hope GB breaks through RM 5, and stays above before CNY. In my reckoning meaningful rally in price should take the price beyond 5.37 and the catalyst could be the full year results, on February 23. There will be profit takers along the way as we have witnessed so far. Foreign institutional investment is the key.

Market is usually ahead of the share price action, but not in the case of Genting, which if the market was looking ahead it would be around 5.37 plus! By the way I don’t drive Rolls I invest in their shares, which excludes cars which is another company altogether. With your excellent investment knowledge you must be investing internationally?

Very true of the entire stock market in Malaysia..also counters with large share ownership by founders is also problematical as they dump shares as and when…they have no concern for shareholders of the company in fact they actually milk the system. That’s why we see laggard performance and profit taking when price goes up slightly.

Add another Rolls Royce …..with terrible balance sheet still recover very strongly……Genting has unusual investors …..for sure. Let’s see.

Look at IAG and Ali Baba …recovery stocks impressive uptrend.

Genting S. breached 52 week high, most stocks in US have breached or close to 52 week high….and Genting still struggling to get there? Reason: investor profile

Genting Sing, 32% up over 6 months v Genting B 9.2%! Let’s hope the gap is narrowed quickly!

Is the momentum slowing? Little rise sellers are out! Let’s hope the momentum carries, still concerned with some investors appetite for risk, they can’t be making much by day trading…of that what it is! If you look at recovery stocks in other markets ..they go strongly up. Let’s hope this is not a false Dawn.

Let’s be honest even 5.37 is on the low side given that the worst is over yes, there are inflationary issues but I personally don’t believe it hits this market in any case it is less of an issue in Gentings major markets. However, there I’ll be profit takers which means any correction there is an buying opportunity. I want to see past 5 first before CNY and before results in February.

Makes no sense small recovery selling starts! Very strange, we all agree Genting is very good recovery stock and worst is well over..yet ot can’t even get close to last years high! Small holders and perhaps major shareholder starts to dump? This is a problem when one party holds big block …..we saw it US withTesla! Jsut have to buy on correction as we know price has be well north if 5 Rm!

As I have stated before Malaysia market has unique features particularly retail investors are happy to sell and take small profits to subside their lunch / dinner….

About time Genting moves up, other global recovery stocks have been progressing well. Genting, locally suffers from EPF and other institutions not investing…..on flip side when it moves it will be due fundamental change in prospects …

There will be a rally in share price after shareholders receive their dividends …..so Monday and Tuesday will see further uplift

Very very promising TauRX …..2023 is the year when it gets regulatory approval. Approval is sought in many markets and chances are high that it will be available soon. As as we hear about the first approval, and inside information suggests that this could be early 2023, the price of Genting will be rerated. The value of Genting investment is not based on market value. There will be significant rerating. In addition to this sale of property in Miami will also book in significant gains ….so 2023 will definitely be the year when share price breaks away! Market will hopefully move ahead of actual events.

Needs should be at least 2.75 in my reckoning. Let’s see
