Exciting times no doubt. I still think the best results would be from 3rd quarter 2022 onwards. The trend will be established when we see 1st quarter. Get the feeling if the the numbers go in right direction we could see price going north of 6.50 plus by year end.

Good time to buy…I would say given that people are once again out and wanting to spend…eventually this will filter through the gaming sector. Therefore in conclusion, things will get better from here not worse for the hospitality sector. US stocks rallied well ahead of all the markets and now have corrected, where as in Asia and Malaysia in particular we have been laggards…so timing wise it is probably right time to invest.

Some folks on this forum are predicting doomsday and suggesting that the recovery is not taking hold! I would like to remind these folks that world equity market has taken cue from US where the market has entered bear territory! Genting irrespective of its improving operating environment is not immune from these corrections! That said it will not go lower as much as it is already very low. Improving numbers hopefully will be confirmed when 1 qtr results are announced which will establish improving trend. The full recovery will probably take longer …..to be seen possible 3rd quarter or when China eventually opens travel! The other unknown is of course whether we are heading into WW3! Actually it is already WW3 without official statement. US and NATO have been supplying arms to Ukraine since 2014 and are providing maximum help without putting its troops…on the ground though even this is not entirely correct.

Simple question…ask yourself, are the conditions now nest there has been since March 2020 for Genting? Answer is emphatically yes. They have opened up in Las Vegas, as well as in Genting, in Malaysia, the U.K.and NY the business are doing well. Hotels are busy and fully booked in some of the resorts. Genting has under performed the global gaming market. ,Timing is perfect for share price to accelerate from here, peaking perhaps when 3 qtr results are released. By the China will open up! Price could be 6.70 by then!

Not long to go before the share price moves…all other sectors have moved and Genting is lagging well behind…..in run up to next results in May…share or ice will touch 5plus mark and move on to 6+ 2nd qtr reporting in August 2022!

Good result ..win win situation for Gamuda …I can see the share being rerated. Gamuda can focus in lucrative contracts and make gain from sale reduce debt and pay special dividend, with little loss of revenue from concession.

It is not weaker quarter…actually….these analysts don’t what they are talking about. It looks to me like an accounting error in good will valuation….revenue up quarter on quarter, other expenses massively up due to this valuation error or consequent revaluation

I think the answer is buy and hold assuming you have diversified holdings and have the liquidity.

South Africa have been making sense…..it is the European counties including U.K. is the issue….they do t follow any protocols what so ever….no social,distancing no masking and drinking in over crowded bars which happens every year during this period of X. I wonder if Serba is a going concern? With clients and suppliers pulling out can’t see how this can be? I wonder if staff have been paid? No news on BAU activities. No one with brains would enter into any contract with this company ..unless new management is appointed.

Not suspension but suspicion!

What a sad state of affairs….almost 2 years ago I raised my suspension in this forum about Serba and was pretty sure it was unethical set up, the way the directors were continuously trading in company shares, announcing MOU’s and share placements suggests were sure signs of fraud. I was shouted down! Where is that feline who makes stories and made a thing about battleships, another fraudster.

When it comes to traditional valuation methods in case of CIMB it is not so relevant. Due to large Investment by govt institutions, in CIMB it will do better than most in attracting new investment. Pension contributions have to be invested somewhere…and CIMB has a fair allocation to it. So I expect it to rally 6 sometime next year before final,results.

Stock raider please do some research….and learn basic meaning of net profit. Sure if they had no loans it would be better, but in such capital intensive industry borrowing or raising capital via RI is the norm…check out other global companies in oil and energy sector.

Sure 10% return next 6 weeks!
