Morning glory…..quoting numbers which mean nothing! The virus is not deadly as previously assumed, hospitalisation and deaths is what is relevant. Quoting US U.K. is not relevant as they are in winter and normally get high flu numbers in any case. Have you noted the rally in the stock market…in those countries! As to India with a population of 1.4 b they have more other issues to worry about. So please play it straight and stop scare mongering. I see Genting rallying to year high very soon ….only stopped by small profit taking by day traders.

Australia PM is absolutely right……the virus has evolved into less threatening, this is sign of the virus loosing effectiveness as vaccinations fight back. South Africa have been making sense…..it is the European counties including U.K. is the issue….they do t follow any protocols what so ever….no social,distancing no masking and drinking in over crowded bars which happens every year during this period of X. What a sad state of affairs….almost 2 years ago I raised my suspension in this forum about Serba and was pretty sure it was unethical set up, the way the directors were continuously trading in company shares, announcing MOU’s and share placements suggests were sure signs of fraud. I was shouted down! Where is that feline who makes stories and made a thing about battleships, another fraudster.

When it comes to traditional valuation methods in case of CIMB it is not so relevant. Due to large Investment by govt institutions, in CIMB it will do better than most in attracting new investment. Pension contributions have to be invested somewhere…and CIMB has a fair allocation to it. So I expect it to rally 6 sometime next year before final,results.

Stock raider please do some research….and learn basic meaning of net profit. Sure if they had no loans it would be better, but in such capital intensive industry borrowing or raising capital via RI is the norm…check out other global companies in oil and energy sector.

Writing is on the wall sadly! Not too difficult prove that there is no fraudulent reporting. I always suspected something was not quite right! So many private placements at huge discounts and MOU almost monthly, most did not progress….receivables rising faster than sales! Tell tale sign. Surprised it has taken such a long time. General consensus after initial scare is that the omicron is mild compared to other variant. In any case we need to be carful comparing to countries who are unvaccinated and who are in winter …as they suffer from seasonal flu ….remember scaremongering is an art to make money. How can you miss the rally when it has just started….it will retrace to 5.53 in the new year and if results season in Feb / March is better than it will rally further.

New virus is infectious but symptoms are mild…..don’t listen to U.K. where hospitalisation due to flu are also very high in the winter months….Dec - March…..it is obvious having lived there. Flu deaths number 45000 annually! We need to live with cV as we do with flu etc. Chnage our life style and follow SOPs.

Omicron….it has been confirmed that the symptoms are very mild. Rate of infections in countries like U.K., US and Europe with or without omicron would be high given that it is winter and they have been enjoying the summer months without following any of,the protocols ….whilst countries like Malaysia have been locked down and over zealous …time has come to be brave and back the fact that most Malaysians have been vaccinated ….we need to change mind set! We need to live with the virus and get vaccine top up….open up the economy otherwise death will come for sure .
Don’t forget Western countries can print money at will and there is no impact as they control the rating agencies. We need to be smart and not trust these countries have our own strategy and viewpoint

The accounting issue was simple not a complex investment trading product like sold by Lehman Bros…this is a simple as you get! You record sales and post a receivable ….which could not be verified! the big debtor outstanding could have been picked up by year 1 ACA student! Question did they verify earlier debtors or was this first one from a suspect contract?
