this is 3rd time i buy ytlp and each time i held it more than 2 months to get return :D

Nope, i choose to buy YTLP simply because its price is lower and their cash is more, so if ytl wanna privatize it. They need to offer a share swap with premium which i predicted to be 1=1 otherwise it's hard for the major shareholder lke EPF and banker to accept the offer...so which one you buy? Me YTLP :D

should be, they need cash for that... and we(YTLP) will be the biggest winner. Cause share swap expected to be 1=1( with premium)and by the time after privatized... Share price of ytl will be at least Rm3... i guess

Sadly not everyone think the same :D, Honestly now i hope ytl take over it whether by cash or share swap. I'm sure it will be a good deal for ytlp shareholder as well...

If the buyers are not risk taker, why they bought it at high price? They only reason i guess, it's a trap. They are trapping people to buy in, perhaps just to let go their holding in the WB. I don't know, but time will tell. And im sure spsetia will go below rm3.00 after conversion done few days... Unless they think that the share price could fly, otherwise it makes no sense to make such deal.

bird_81, i always recomend to buy its wa den buy csl. For me the warrant is much more interesting to invest...

Dont misunderstand, i mean when GE comes , probably i can use the same amount of money to buy ANOTHER share which i think will deliver a better return than csl. Especially share like genting, genm, and GLC... Yup, there is certain risk of picking up those shares.. risk=return, i hope to utilising this opportunity that will only comes 4 yrs once, So i must use the chance wisely and make the smartest choice in selecting which share to buy... HK, Shanghai or we call it china, the politic and goverment style is different from malaysia. we can't assume the same thing will be applied in malaysia...Cheers :D

honestly, share swap is good for ytlp holders as well... cause im sure ytl share price will be above rm2.50 after take over, what you need to do is just hold on...

Recently goreng style has change, some share drop on morning but up up up after lunch, some pula up at starting but drop drop drop towards the end... Hard to predict what to happen next, same as csl. it has been dropping since 1 month ago, but nobody can know when it will stop and suddenly shoot up.. It bout luck, so buy in if you think you are lucky star :D

Accountant mistake, eps is 6 cents, total eps is 17 cents so far... Nothing wrong with its fundamental but share price keep falling down, why? Sometimes, share price is dropping because the selling by insiders, they know the bad news earlier than we do. Yup, it's too cheap now. Im planning to buy back, but GE is too near, thats what making me hesitated whether to go in... haiz....

in malaysia, FA isn't so important. Most important factor to be consider first is, who is the shareholder of the company... example Harvest, NIcorp, tiger and bla bla bla... there are a lot counter with great performance but share price were extreamly undervalued...

I only know Yeoh's family benefit the most if privatised.They hold the biggest portion in YTL, Thats why they reduce the dividend paid. Cause they wanna utilising the money in ytlpower for expansion of ytl after privatised. God, this is the man have faith in god jesus? But it seems a bit hard now, cause the market value of ytlp isnt small, its about the same as ytl. It wont be as easy as take over ytlc. I guess many minority shareholders will vote for refusal of accept...

sarjit, you bought at rm2.50... that time dividend per quater is rm0.0375(right)... minus all the dividend you get from they, your loss wont be 50k, i guess maybe you got profit as well? Depends on when you bought it...

Not atractive becz it doesnt generate fast profit? Eps around 11 cents a yr what your expect fr them? This is a nice pick for long term. Why? Cause they reserve a large portion of money for m&a and develipment. However, taking into consideration of ytlp warrant offered which is around 20cents lower than market value. Does it really rewards less for their shareholders?

maybe thats what they want it to be? Relax, a good fundamental counter doesnt really scary to keep for longer :D

Now is turn for it to go up. I believe this is a good start and expect more to come :D
