OMG! Insas is below 90 sen!

From Saturday until Monday LTAT and Boustead offices closed, the proposed privatisation letter will be delivered to Boustead registered office tomorrow.

Last week bought some MNRB at 89 sen. I feel there's not much downside at this level and there's vast upside potential. Imagine if PNB decides to take this laggard private. As a contrarian I am always collecting highly undervalued laggards. I believe that every laggard will have its day.

Johnzhang, I think I have commented in MNRB forum from time to time. I have made a few thousand from MNRB several months ago when I sold off all and recently I have bought back mostly below 90 sen. I don't follow technical analysis at all. As for MPHCap I haven't done any research on it.

Remember Dow Jones down 620 points on Friday, if down another 620 points on Monday, Insas will go under 90 sen.

If Insas ordinary shares price correct down to 91 sen, then the PR will trade at half sen.

Draft copy of the proposed privatisation letter addressed to Boustead already prepared with the offer price left blank to be filled up on Tuesday morning. LTAT is monitoring the comments on this forum before putting in the offer price.

Bplant might eventually be taken private too but not so soon, maybe in two years time because the to be announced SCR will increase Boustead's bank loans. Boustead would not have the financial means to attempt to take Bplant private.

Yes, shortees haven't closed their short position at all, there was even a slight increase. Shortees to buy 1.2 million+ PRs.

Usually a SCR takes 3 to 4 months to complete from the time it is announced but if offer price deemed low and requires upward revision then if course it would drag on further to 5 or 6 months.

The 30th largest shareholder in Boustead holds 2,343,074 shares. Johnzhang must be among top 40 then.

The legal proceedings against Lodin has been discontinued, perhaps in return of Lodin committing his support for the SCR.

It depends on the 3 institutions that hold huge blocks of shares, namely KWSP, KWAP and AIA, at what price will these 3 agree to cash out? Have LTAT engaged them?

Insas share price will only rise if the Board pays out higher dividend and increase payout frequency. Two sen and only once a year will forever make Insas a tortoise.

Whatever offer price is announced I will NOT sell a single share when Boustead is re-quoted on Wednesday. I will wait and see if the offer price will be raised like in the case of Selangor Properties Bhd.

Any shareholder who were stuck at prices above RM1 bought a long time ago had opportunity for the months to average down their purchase cost and if they failed to do so, it's only themselves to blame.

If 10% of the minorities vote against like in the case of MAA the whole scheme of the SCR collapses.

In a SCR there's no middle road, if 75% of the non-interested shareholders vote for to accept the offer price, the remaining 25% minorities have to go along with the offer unless 10% of the minorities vote against the offer price.

I have over 70,000 shares. I think the offer price will be around 95 sen because market price in the past 12 to 13 months have never exceeded 94 sen. Of course the higher the offer price the happier I will be but I don't think LTAT and Boustead will be overly generous to the minorities.

They could offer low first and see the minorities' reaction, then revise up the offer later. Selangor Properties Bhd revised upwards the offer twice before minorities responded favourably.

Yippy, you already fallen in love with BPlant. I know you are one of the top ten largest shareholder. Before BPlant bought into Dutaland's Sabah plantation I was active here. I sold around RM1.80 before the special dividend went ex and never bought back. I think you should have diversified. It's not advisable to put all your money into one or two counters. There are too many undervalued counters at the moment.

However, I haven't sold any of my personal holding in Insas, maybe sell some on Tuesday.

My company has last month invested in Boustead at 62.5 sen, we would rather hold on to Boustead.

My company's purchase cost is only 65 sen and we even received 2 sen dividend earlier this month.

My company doesn't want to take up the rights.
