Suspension cannot be to call off privatisation because there was no privatisation in the first place, can't call off something that doesn't exist yet. Maybe announcement will be that Boustead has defaulted loan repayment and is now a PN17 defaulted company and will be delisted, hahahaha.

It's a whole day suspension on Tuesday. A proposed privatisation has been agreed and now preparing the formal documents to be delivered on Tuesday.

A company cannot ask for a suspension in the trading of its shares unless there is a material announcement to be made by the company. If there's no proposed privatisation there's no need for a suspension.

A lot of people who invested in plantation are upset with Mikecyc. Sometimes we have to consider opposing views which are backed with facts. He took a lot of trouble to post up-to-date data here for everyone to make an informed judgement. Plantation companies will definitely post improved earnings but CPO price above RM3,000 will not hold up forever. Always diversify your investment.

ivan9511, I don't think plantation is a good buy. Output is down. There's labour shortage harvesting the fruits, transportation problem due to MCO, flooding etc. The fruits are left to rot. Golden Land can buy below 40 sen.

You just need a small amount of capital to invest and every gain you make you re-invest and let your investment grow.

When lots of people were buying plantation as CPO breaches RM3,000/ton I sold my plantation shares and bought into steel cheaply. When steel suddenly spiked I sold steel and started to buy into Boustead. It's really easy to make money.

If don't keep record of purchase and sale how to know how much gain is made. Biggest gain I made in a counter last year was MLab (around RM36,000). Supermax I sold at RM22.52 before the bonus. Very easy to make money if you have discipline and patience to buy low and sell high.

Because despite high CPO price, harvesting output is down due to labour shortage and flooding, the fruits are left to rot.

Last year until end of December I made realised gains of RM140,157.02 from what I have sold. This month I made a further few thousand from sale of TA Enterprise and FGV.

My FD rate is 1.7 % p.a RM120,000 parked.
