I noticed its ex factory ASP went up.from.about US 65 from mid May till.mid June to about.100 to 110 in.mid June till.end July. Same thought. I m almost all in Supermax now. Averaging all the way down to RM 5.0 . Once the genie leaves the bottle in India ... or the deadly Brazilian variant circles the universe or more deadlier variants popping up randomly like mushrooms all over the world....then at least we will have the glove protection over us. Then Genting and GENM correction of 15% is the minimum. Although there is chance the vaccines may win the battle but even then the earnings into FY 2022 will still be able to easily sustain the price at around RM 8.0

It's obvious KYY has allowed his fear to get the better of him this time. He knew the strong fundamentals of Supermax , but he was also staring at the on-coming margin call. So he chickened out before the margin call hit him. But what is sad is he created a narrative that would make it difficult for him to swallow back his saliva (or words) to make a u-turn. To be realistic, if the vaccines continue to be effective and Covid is under control in the highly vaccinated countries, then glove share prices will have limited up side even though India and the poor nations have not controlled the Covid cases, as the market will expect that they will eventually control it given time. But if the Covid mutated to convincingly break thru the current vaccine protection and causing serious disease amongst the fully vaccinated then that will throw market expectation into uncertainty again, and then only then we can see >RM 20 for Supermax again or even > RM 30.

I think its unfortunate that KYY has lost his focus and analyzed glove in the wrong way. Its not about FA, TA or future over supply to demand projection. The real measure is in understanding the real potential of the Covid virus ability to mutate and break through the vaccine protection. As investors we have to take a position, if you believe Covid is dumb and weak, then you better sell all your glove holdings tomorrow. If you think Covid is a smart virus and will gain strength over time to overcome the current vaccines, then you better buy more glove shares to hedge against the potential collapse of the real economy. Going forward we need to watch for signs of any potential serious break through of the vaccines amongst the communities that have been highly vaccinated. Example, if within the next 1-2 months, the daily cases in Israel suddenly surged to 2000++ cases, you can bet all your wealth on the glove shares that their value will surge above the prices in 2020.
Chile has administerd SinoVac to 40% of its population, but the cases are still surging. Its still early days of observing the Covid vs Vaccine battle, but the signs are not so good for the vaccines.
I hope if KYY reads this, he can shift his focus to help analyze the potential of the virus characteristics going forward. However, judging from the quality of his recent articles on gloves, I m not holding much hope over it.

Agree bro Agjl, no point talk so much kok with naysayers, we are lomg term investors, just stay the course and wait until our TP is reached, then can start to unload.

Time really flies, below were my comments 5 months ago , and now its coming to 6 months oredi. Like I say just lock up for minimum 6 months and the reward shall the good. I took my own advice and kept averaging down when the price was around RM 4.0.

Invest long term no need to stress like u guys. I just keep averaging down as it goes down. Of all the glove counters, Supermax will outshine the rest as a major global player in the coming years. No need to panic. It is not the same preCovid Supermax anymore. Its moving on at a fast pace to be a global glove and PPE player and to be reckon with as one of the top in the world soon. With so much cash in hand coming in the next few quarters, the possibilities are endless. I can totally trust a company that can generate a PAT margin of 60% and above. Only a company with integrity can give you that.

Most of you would know this is a highly volatile counter with high level of unpredictability. Some say up to 80% of those who play contra will lose. The best is if you are convinced the counter is a good investment, just buy and lock up for at least 6 months. At least keep until share dividend issued then KLCI inclusion and after that dual listing in SGX. No matter what price you buy tomorrow, the reward should be good in 6 months. No need to speculate or second guess the market.

Going forward the most important factor to watch for is number of new cases for Israel. If new cases were to surge up in the next few weeks, then the glove counters will follow upwards. What happens in Israel is the future for the rest. But if the numbers there were to stay low within 2 digits, then glove counters will reverse gear too.

We have been saying the same thing in this forum since 2 months ago that the vaccines are peddled by scammers out to make big bucks. Even if they have the technology to neutralize the virus now, they will also not immediately produce them, but will do it progressively , so that they will make as a many billions as possible along the way.
