此外，該分析員稱，怡克偉士或可通過發股方式集資，但這將稀釋該公司的每股盈利。

「考慮到依海城主要靠脫售土地來獲利，業務性質偏向長期，該公司為怡克偉士貢獻的盈利預計將起伏不定。」

大華繼顯分析員指出，儘管怡克偉士的建議仍需通過董事局決議和股東的同意，但短期內將對股東情緒造成負面影響。

在收购案还未宣布之前 怡克伟士 的股价很长一段时间 徘徊在1.10 上下。
由于这次的收购方案 已经对股价和投资信心造成伤害, 即便宣布取消 股价短期也难恢复元气。
1.00不值得买, 0.95+ - 勉强买来赚点外快。
0.90以下 才是最佳买入点。

海滨城市的主要资产是土地，属于长期才能回收性质。基于产业领域尚未复苏，因此怡克伟士收购海滨城市并不见得是项好的收购。此外，收购海滨城市后，后者在短期内也无法对怡克伟士的盈利做出贡献

大财团通常都会将 建筑或产业臂膀 分折上市 以释放价值 e.g Sunway, IOI, Sime Darby.....etc
可是LKH却把 连续季度亏损的公司纳入旗下。(这是不是意味着 失去大马城的IWC 已经没有价值可言 未来看不到希望!!!) 要EKOVEST来打救?
无论是 现金或发股收购，短期都会侵蚀EKOVEST股东的利益。(短期内都看不到IWC有任何利润，除了卖地!!! 难道以后年年卖地, 这样就惨咯) 虽然IWC有值 几个亿的地库，可都是账面价值，看到吃不到。土地只有通过发展才可以为股东创造利益。(我提议EKOVEST把IWC的土地 拿来种油棕或什么的 好过闲置丢空，哈哈哈。。。)

短期股价上下都是散户心理作怪造成，也难怪鳄鱼可以乘虚而入。往好的方面想，它也让自己有低价买入的机会。如果公司操作好赚钱看长线不好吗？股市需要的是耐心。
