Forget bout PHB. It won't be making money as long as China's economy is still in weakness. And this could last the whole of 2016 and half of 2017. By then, it s almost the 10 years cycle since 2008. Would the economy global crisis happens in 2018? If yes, PHB has no chance to rebound until 2019.

KUALA LUMPUR: Westports Holdings Bhd posted lower earnings of RM504.86mil in the financial year ended Dec 31, 2015 due to higher tax expenses despite higher pre-tax profit and revenue.

The port operator announced on Wednesday its earnings were lower by 1.4% from RM512.20mil in FY14. Its revenue increased 7.6% to RM1.68bil from RM1.56bil a year ago. It proposed dividend of 5.78 sen a share.

Westports’ profit before tax increased by 12% to RM650.14m as operational revenue grew by 5% to RM1.58bil.

It's not cheap to bid for spectrum. Last time Telco on't need to spend a single cent for it since it was allocated but now need to bid for it and it's not 1 million - 2 million. It can go to 100 million and more and there s no cap on it. Where am I going to find this few hundreds millions for this bidding? And the spectrum is not only one time bidding cause there are various spectrum from different frequency range. You need to bid for few spectrum to support 2G,3G and LTE as well as data and voice. Digi has been declaring 100% dividend from nett profit. Do you think they have the money to bid for spectrum? And if I failed to bid, telco cant operate anymore.

just be patient and let the price finds its footing. It has broke its 52 weeks last week at RM4.40 and no doubt it would need to find its new footing. It could be RM4.10, RM4 or even RM3.90. No ones know but the chart will tell when it reaches its footing.

hooi was buying a lot back last year and Mr Parkson was just asking ppl to buy and kept shouting on the 10sen dividend. When I mentioned it s just a proposal and not sure way to get it, then Mr. Parkson is so defensive. And now it s proven that the dividen is no way to be seen. So Mr. Parkson is the poor retailer getting trapped in this counter and have no guts to cut loss and move on. And yet he wanna label the rest who have been accumulating alot back then to cut loss as poor retailers.

Come on, cutting loss in shares investment isnt a bad thing. If I have not cut loss at RM1.75, I would have made more loss now and without any single cash dividend but just hope and hope and hope that WC would reward me for my loyalty in holding PHB.
