Dagang NeXchange Berhad (KLSE:DNEX) is looking at buying more stakes in oil and gas assets. Executive deputy chairman Datuk Samsul Husin said the economic slowdown and soft oil prices provide a good opportunity to buy the assets due to their attractive prices. "This is the right time for acquisitions because of the low prices of O&G assets. We have low gearing and cash reserves, so I think it is time pick up an asset," he told Business Times on September 26, 2016. "We are asset light and knowledge heavy, so we are looking for assets that are already producing oil." When asked if there is any ongoing acquisition, Samsul said: "We are looking at opportunities but nothing specific at the moment."

hi all, sorry for dragging you all into my badluck and suffer. whenever I bought any stock, that stock will go down. then after I sold that stock, the price going up. Now I offer my self exit from this stock so that you all can get out from this suffering. If you pay me double the price, I may consider to sold my share and exit from this stock. Hopefully the share price will go up and make you all happy. But if the price is still go down, that mean that is somebody else badluck. :-)

Currently 50 percent of the oil palm trees in FGV’s plantations are above 18 years old. In the meantime, 30 percent comprise young and immature trees. Every year, a certain portion of this 30 percent or 70,000 hectares of FGV-owned plantations will mature and so gradually balance the age profile.

To enhance FFB yields in the long-term, FGV targets to aggressively replant about 15,000 hectares per year, for the next three to five years.

This enables FGV to replace the aging trees with better planting materials such as its award winning Yangambi, which produce an oil extraction rate (OER) of 24 percent and boasts a yield of 30 tonnes per hectare per year.
