US markets closed for Memorial Day holiday. Ringgit this morning at 4.1086, everyone expects it to weaken sharply but i think likely to stay choppy for now. Many brokers downgraded Supermax yesterday: RHB downgrades to a Hold, CIMB downgrades TP from RM5.25 to RM2.90. Big picture for gloves not strong enough for an upgrade, I would give them a miss for now. I prefer stock which will benefit from lower commodity prices and from the more competitive ringgit. Yellen's comments last Friday noteworthy. I think her comments were a bit dovish but the ringgit is weakening to 4.10 this morning. Supermax's results were poor as expected as the big picture for gloves remains not very positive for now. I would give it a miss for now. Investors should look at other sectors meantime, prefer stocks; which will benefit from lower commodity prices or the more competitive ringgit. Kai89 can bluff all he wants but readers not stupid. Although Kai89 and his group continues to attack me, I will continue to share my opinions because my hope is that readers get a balanced view on Supermax on this forum before buying and selling. Supermax ending the day down 6sen! Other gloves also fell. Clear indication that big picture is not positive for gloves. F&N rising further, together with Padini, good defensive plays in this uncertain market. AA off high, closing at 2.40, tactical take profit call earlier this week remains. Watch out for Yellen's comments tonight. Markets are only putting about 30% chance on a rate hike in June. may be too low. A reminder to be careful online, Kai89, Eric Teh (now ETmoney) and Tressele are telling people Kai89 can predict 100% correct.
