i like your attitude with your time horizon of investment. some people here may not appreciate that others have their own style of investing and they will say "if the stock not moving, then cut and move to other opportunities" as if other opportunities are guaranteed to make money. some people think that if you trade more you will make more haha on hindsight always easy to say "see if you sell and buy this stock, make $ already" but nobody will understand your personal parameters for holding a stock or how much investment you have spread over how many stocks etc etc.

If i can buy & sit on a stock and in the meantime i drink coffee, shake leg, play video games, watch TV and hold for 2-3 years(maybe even longer) and make my money, why not? but i understand that NOT EVERYONE has the luxury/patience of just sitting around, and short term positions are definite more exciting i have to admit. Good point on takaful, i had it below rm2 level and no patience, i was itchy and sold out because other stocks moving and learnt a painful lesson when it started flying. so yes, when my confidence is gone, i like you will sell without hesitation. in the meanwhile, it is peti sejuk time. and if i were you, i wouldn't waste my time replying to people who make fluffy comments all the time (u know who...).
