Most of the analysts have upgraded the target price of YTL POWER to RM5+ indicating their confidence in huge growth potentials of YTL POWER.
I will ignore whatever "negative* comments.
In the past, just few days before the Chinese New Year normally remained quiet as quite a number of the " local " remiziers had gone on holiday.
But this YTL POWER is supported by "foreign" investment funds that
could lift the price to a higher level after the profit taking or corrections.

As long as the foreign funds are still intact, after the retailers and/or local funds have cleared their positions, a strong rebounce is expected next week or after the Chinese New Year.

Profit taking as I see is quite normal especially Chinese New Year is only a few more days to go. In my opinion, as long as the foreign funds are still there, the rebound would be on the way to a higher level.

Strong fundamentals. Resilient rebound. Foreign funds support.That's the power of YTL POWER ! ! !

Both Dow Jones and Nasdaq rise more than 100 points at this hour of the night in Malaysia : Thursday 01-02-2024 , 11.45 pm.

Both Dow Jones and Nasdaq are the uptrend as seen tonight. Hopefully the uptrends continue towards the closing.
Hopefully, the uptrends would bring forth positive effects especially to the South East Asian market. Most likely YTL POWER would also climb towards the higher level.

Moreover, we don't know how many new projects would be there in the pipeline.

Those who want to short , let them be. Now YTL POWER is unique in the sense that already partner with NVIDIA, one of the world's largest chip makers. It was awarded green hydrogen power project from Singapore, a nation with advanced technology. This shows how much Singapore government's trust in the integrity of YTL POWER. Moreover, we don't how new projects would be there in the pipeline.

My target price for YTL POWER at June 2024 is RM5.00 but now it seems that the target price might hit earlier. I will also keep an eye on TENAGA NASIONAL as my target price is about half of the price of TENAGA NASIONAL.
What I hope is that YTL POWER will catch up with the price of TENAGA NASIONAL, but I don't know the exact time frame .

YTL POWER and its partner NVIDIA are the two powerful stars of the year 2024 and beyond.
