1: AA had hedged 74% of fuel requirement at averagely USD55/ bbl 2016. This means that AA had theoretically contracted USD 55/bbl regardless of what is the current price. (without keeping actual jet fuel). Therefore, if oil hike, it has nothing impact to this 74% fuel requirement, instead it will benefit AA. Specifically, i'm talking about jet fuel, not crude oil. According to IATA website, jet fuel price averagely at USD 62.30/bbl.

By your calculator: paper gain averagely USD 7.30/bbl.
USD 7.30 x quantities of jet fuel bbl= ?


2: The remainder 26% of fuel requirement is purchased according to prevailing market price.

Crusher,if Monday crash to 2.6...can I buy? Instead of commenting,i want to buy some for investment gain now.

If KYY gain who lose? OTB followers or i3 members? Stock market cannot be everybody gain. For KYY to gain someone must lose.

Albukhary OTB earn RM196k for 3 months from a single customer,no bad.
Many Fund manager at bank only taking salary around RM20-30k per month.
