Also the tax rate is way too high which will normalise in the coming quarters. The rate shall be about 25% not 44 % for this quarter which is to cov r back the Low tax rate in previous q . I used to be a sub contractor who did job for main con ( who got the goverment job ), In fact I will prefer to be directly paid from the goverment so I am sure I will be paid. Last time almost 80% of the my contract is done this way , I get paid directly from JKR. Why main con cant do it by himself ? Simple, they don't have the speacility. Why JKR dont directly gave me the job ? Well, JKR cant micro manage the whole project right ? HOnestly speaking, I dont see it as bad as you guys think. The culprit is the loan loss provisioning. Lat Q Provided 1.5 Bil and this Q another 1.5 Bil. I think the worst could be over. In fact if everything goes as plan, the last Q which is the finaicial end Q you could see a provision write back which is norm for most of the banks. Provided the ECL and year end could write back if the condition is not as bad as expected.
