Dumped some Orient in batches (highest @ 6.72) after securing the latest dividend, with the capital FREED to go elsewhere looking for more undervalued higher beta stocks. Also because the eventual result of the RPT on the co. going fwd is highly uncertain, with cash per shr down to below $4.

Confirm EPF contributed to the selldown last week, disposing just over 2 mil on 20/10

Bought back Petronm for 4.51 today. Looking fwd to an EPS of between 22-43c

But I think that rookie fella already cashed out loooong ago lol

Bought back the Hexza I SOLD @ $1.01 for 81.5c

Problem is ppty mkt was artificially overinflated during QE 1-3 & is undergoing a slow but relentless deflation ( similar to Japan from 1991 to 2012) to return back to 3-4X average annual income which is the maximum serviceable fair value for average ppties.

After conversion of all these extra paper, issued shrs will balloon to over 6.8 BILLION units, with a mkt cap of over 2.8b even @ today's bombed out price. More capable funds are doing the math & are running 1st & asking questions later!

What's the use of having so much unsaleable ppty inventory with unsupportable debt burden(robbing C-subscribers to pay B-holders)?

Seems like unusually large volumes Q-ing to buy @ 56.5c & 57c. Will not buy any more until I can sell my recently bought Simeplt/Wprts/KLK at elevated prices.

I'm guessing they SHORTed heavily & are covering back @ punishingly high prices lol

I enjoyed the article too, as it's a wonderful thing to dream better than the best. So, the Damocles sword of the EPF's 600+ mil shareholding hindering a significant rise in the stock(I still believe it wasn't them buying yesterday) is a blessing as it allows longer term holders & believers to buy while it's still low. It may well be that the price will re-test the 50c low after ex-div but as long as one scales one's purchases & is open to tolerate less favourable scenarios, it should be fine. I've waited ages for some companies' shrs to go from huge paper losses to eventual gain by keeping the faith eg Wong Engineering bought in 2004 & only profitable from 2014 onwards & Uchitec bought in 2007 & only profitable from 2016 onwards.

What happened to the '100% certainty that palm oil will crash to 2,800 & KLK will NEVER go back to 22.00' Negative Nellies ? lol

Looking @ the shrholdings just b4 the Ukr war, 10 out of the top 11 shrholders comprising 76.14% of the total issued shrs are all local govt-linked & provident funds, with the exception of Public mutual @ #8(45.974mil or 1.13%). Interestingly, Norges Bk, nominees for the largest SWF in the world, holds abt 57 mil shrs & Quek LC's interests hold another 21.4mil. Maybe next annual rpt will see big changes in these holdings =)

Wasn't even tempted to chase this morning as I could see it was a pump & dump. Even a formerly solid ppty co. needs to pumped+dumped means the country is in hot water( & so are the major shareholder funds trapped inside!)

Very telling that the price is now BELOW the 2020 low, the 2008 low, the 2003 low, the 2001 low & is now the lowest since Apr 1999. Still not back to '98 rebound high 44c nor '98 all-time low of 12c
