A PBB remisier called Ms Yeong foolishly bought a few lots of this @ $2.00 hoping to catch a rebound....Instead it dived relentlessly into the longkang & never came close to that level again.....even if it DOUBLES from the current price, it'll still be DOWN 88% for her...

After share consolidation still have the cheek to ask for more $ via rights issue...lol...Happy for involuntary long-term shareholder Ms Yeong LOL

I remember the good 'ol days when just 100 shrs cost almost as much as the 600 I bought 2day.This is from my 2014 records when I totally exited from BAT:

Fortunately, I did contra off 300 of these for a tidy gain & SOLD the balance later in that yr BUT the mistake was when I re-entered with 100 shortly after below $41. Averaging down very very slowly in 2018-2019(199) & early '20(747) & more aggressively below $13 after that(1,773 when the last dividend was paid) is how I got to the 2,575 today...

If tomorrow drop below 12, will top up to 3,000 shrs to receive 600+ in dividend.

Still huge margin of safety compared to very brief 1998 panic low of 13.50 & avg '98-'00 price of 26.00, when the qtrly t/o was less than 500 mil & EPS was 26-55c

Bought 13 lots of this for the dividend in '21 @ 56.4c avg. I was prepared for a long wait to recover my capital but lo & behold, I was browsing Bursa announcements & noticed loo hooi keat buying & divided his purchase layout by the no. of shrs @ got a shock that it was almost 60c! SOLD first thing in the morning so recovered my capital back & kept the dividend :)

Kancheong spiders T +2, T +3, T+4 all have to cut loss...kesian...

Bought more matching 12.20 @ close...tks again, Mr Mkt! We'll see who is right in 6 mths...

Typical of such long-term loser investors is a remisier in one of the major IBs(hint:logo is red) called Ms Y****g who is like TakeProfits above, thinks she's so smart trading in & out of the mkt yet is not ashamed to follow tips & is a "proud" owner of scam stocks like Technax @ 16c & Euro @ $2.00+(!!!!!) LOL... She said she doesn't want to hold because she has no confidence in the economy & doesn't care for dividends, always claiming that stocks lose more than the dividend after the ex-date(not always true eg Maybank, Pelikan etc) yet is so greedy that she chased Maybulk for the dividend @ 47.5c after I gave her ample notice that I was buying continuously when it was 41-44c before that. 30 + years "experience" yet still dunno the difference between investment & speculation LOL

Why toP loser? Becos many ppl CHASE in the new yr expecting bumper results but actual report is only so-so factoring in the stupee d tax & the deteriorating economy. Many loss-cutters who are kancheong spiders & prob never earned a single dividend in their lives because they never hold thinking they are so smart trading in & out LOL

Personally, I've traded BAT once in '12, once in '14( bought 59.80, sold 68.90) & multiple times in subsequent yrs. Trading profits & divs total over $7,700 which exceeds my paper loss of $6,200...it pays me amply to wait for the bull market to return to wipe out said paper loss.

Finally added to my KLK position @ 21.44 today :)

Wow! The shrs I mistakenly bought in the 60s last yr finally come into the $$$. Patience is the key to successful investing :)

SOLD some Maxis @ the open (4.10), reducing my stake from 8 to 5 lots...613 market days of trading income in a row!

I bought this one mistakenly betting on a 'double bottom' in 2019 @ 4.39, just 3 mths b4 the craziness of 2020 turned the world upside down...luckily averaged down @ 3.04 in 2020 so my cost is 3.767 all in.

Today, I was looking for a stock to bring me to 612 days of capital gains in a row & noticed UMW being likely to open high @ 3.83 so I SOLD 2/3 of my trapped shares @ the open & earned a little, not counting the dividends already received since purchase.

Was also turned off by all the analysts strongly promoting this stock so am glad to liberate some capital before the long weekend :)
