Checked my records...actually sold my original stake for 50979 for 8 lots averaging $6.372 per shr. Haven't bought back the full stake on Friday yet due to hostile market environment.

Bought back the PetronM I SOLD above 5.50 from May - Jun & re-purchased for 4.40+ & re-sold too early @ 4.70+.... between 4.29-4.35 today

For me, one very bullish factor = old con KYY being -ve. Nov '17 - Feb '18 promote kuat2 when they goreng & then dump. Perfect contrarian indicator.

If EPF dumps 5-20 mil/day, it can conceivably drop back to 50c. But unlikely they will do so, though the remaining 620 mil shrs are a Damocles sword hanging over the price.

Can a major refiner go bust? Started tiptoeing into Shell(former name) @ 8.10 in 2013 then averaged down @ 5.65 in 2014. Seemed to be going bust in '15 with a 1 bil loss & NTA crashed to 1.00. Finally, looooong time holder Shell plc also throw in the towel, selling out @ 1.80 in '16 & it seemed my investment was doomed. Bought some @ 2.20+ shortly after but didn't dare to hold & contra-ed off for a small profit. Then an old con got involved & it rose past 5, then 6, then 7. Sold 70% of my stuck investment @ 7.60(avg cost = 6.77)...in hindsight way too early. The other 20% went out in the 8s, the last 10% @ 10.82 but it only peaked @ 19.20.

Share price movements are highly unpredictable even when the quarter is predicted/ confirmed to be good because insiders are already in action months in advance(discounting mechanism)

Some ppl so desperate.200mil shares already given over @ 8c...Pwuuuuiiii

@Rambutan9: Thanks! Many are stuck because they didn't expect a bear market even at the end of '21 & have little cash reserves because they were trying to make a lot of $$$ quick

Even if you bought 1 mil shares or even 10 mil, you can't push up the price, when funds are disposing >2-3 mil per day.

I can afford to buy 322k shares with the cash I have but why have all my cash STUCK in one or even a few counters???

Bought a couple of lots @ 57.5 today...bringing my stake to over 11k shrs. No rush to buy big

Maybe EPF de facto insolvent like Tabung Haji...liabilities more than assets after >60% decided to withdraw 10k recently.

Bought back the Hengyuan I SOLD above 5.50...for 4.48

But if I'm not mistaken, they have a profit guarantee until the end of 2022...so they covered their behinds at least until the end of the year(vendors have to top up the shortfall).

Can't comment much except that in the branch nearest me, weekdays can get pretty quiet but I guess Fri, Sat, Sun will more than compensate...
