SOLD all my CWG @ 35.5c after pocketing the dividend.

I don't consider dragon328 an analyst in the perjorative sense I meant earlier...yet a good analysis has to give sufficient highlights to the adverse scenarios(debt load in rising interest environment, recessionary drag on consumer spending, dishonest majority shareholder etc etc)

On the other hand, all 5 recommendations to my clients given Dec '22 all already went higher or reached their initial tgts ( JCY @ 15.5c, Petron @ 4.30, Panamy @ 23.00, Kenanga @ 91c, GUH @ 42c) with the last one to reach its initial tgt being GUH today :)

I've never followed analysts ever in my life...except taking contrarian trade positions...if a billionaire followed all analysts recommendations, they would become a millionaire in short order ! HA

All time low! Luckily I never held on to this dog after selling off my last shrs on 16th Mar '21...

Forecasts are just forecasts...some of them eventually turn out to be waaaay off the mark...if I had listened to analysts, I would have bought it @8.80 when they set a target of 9.50 in 2018 lol

Which still leaves the mystery of the big selldown on Fri. Could be corrupt political insiders shorting with sensitive information still undisclosed.

Genting S'pore net profit up 85% on 62% jump in revenue y-o-y, dividend raised to 2c from 1c.

19-21 BILLION nett debt incurring compounding 8-10% interest charges...more than offsets the holding of GenS...As recently as 2017 it was still 5 billion net cash & STILL there was a huge discount of $2 or more / shr!

U guys are forgetting that it was the founder's son who started the spiral down for the stock when he tried to 'embezzle' GenM's cash to save his floundering Empire Resorts( note that when it opened in early '18, the bet look secure as the economy was still on the high tide so GenM was never offered any participation). When the bet clearly turned sour by Jul '19, he dragged that co. into his private mess & started the downfall of Gent.

Even bankrupt Sapura Energy can have a mkt cap of 900 mil when its profit last qtr was barely over 10 mil. MHB is cash rich, net cash & already busy working until at least 2026. Something is absurdly wrong with a mkt that gives it a value of only 1.2 bil.
