3iii Prior to release of Q4 2017 results, a few wrote long analytical articles on Hengyuan. All have the simple message of how earnings of Hengyuan would be excellent and those who did not buy will be missing out. These articles are archived in i3.

Promoters quoted these article on every occasions. They praised the authors for their excellent analysis and work. The promoters challenged those with other views to read these articles carefully to understand the "detailed" analysis. With the release of Q4 2017, none of them who predicted on the results were even approximately right. They were ABSOLUTELY WRONG. Did they subsequently come out with their post analysis of where and why tbey got their articles so wrong in their macro- , micro-factors and valuations.

What conclusion can you make of these "beautifully, well written and seemingly careful detailed analysis"? Read them but do not accept they are right. Be a critical reader. If they have written pages and pages of details with a lot of complex reasonings and supporting articles, be watchf and also be alert. The writer may not understand the business well. If they cannot summarise their stories plausibly in simple terms where a primary school child can understand, move on and look for another company witb business tbat is easier to understand.

Bottom line, do your own analysis and valuation. Always invest based on your own decision. Acquire the knowledge to do so. Invest in yourself.

hengyuan need new story to go up again. round 1 is about crack spread. when crack spread go down then round 2 is about complex refinery, when complex refinery can't give good result then round 3 is about?

seems like petronm earning also cyclical in nature. don't forget this year earning also boosted by disposal gain.

Heng Yuan was the best example recently. So many was slaughtered. Operators have already left. Hardcore promoters also not many around. What left are those who still believe in this fairy tale.

Lee Yih Yeong, Last year 1st quarter net profit less than 1M , the following 3 quarters all above 2M , this coming 1st quarter for 2018 , easily can achieve above 2M with more sell from China & Taiwan , this is my view, pls correct me if I am wrong .

kyy still buy at RM 17.00, no need to scare.

In fact, based on the better crack spread in the 4th quarter, Hengyuan will most likely report increased profit. I will continue to buy today even at above Rm 17.00 per share because I believe the price will continue to rise until the 4th quarter result is announced before end of February 2018.

If i am not wrong i remember mr koon said before that force selling is good because it ensure we cash in the profit.

The art of selling - sell progressively and sell more when price go up so that u get the highest average selling price

I think it is wise to take profit progressively and move some fund to other which got potential and has not go up. No stock can go up forever.

WHY A SELLER WANT TO PREVENT STOCK PRICE FROM RAMPING UP LEH ??
IT IS DUE TO 2 REASONS;

1. THE SELLER IS ACTUALLY AN INDIRECT BUYER LOH...!! HE KEY IN BIG SELL ORDER, BCOS HE WANT TO SUPRESS THE SHARE PRICE FROM GOING UP, IN ORDER TO ACCUMULATE STOCK LOH..!!
USUALLY THE STOCK HE WANT TO SELL BIG BELONG COME FROM THE GRANDFATHER POOL...{CHINESE SAY AHKONG MONIES LOH...!!}
ON THE OTHER HAND THE BUYING POOLS, USUALLY HE HAS AN INTEREST LOH...!!

2. THE SELLER JUST WANT TO DISRUPT THE BUYER FROM PUSHING UP THE STOCK PRICE, BY KEYING IN BIG SELL ORDERS, SO THAT, IF THE BUYERS REALLY HARD UP, HE WILL NEED TO CLEAR HIS BIG SELLING BLOCK 1ST LOH...!!

I THINK IN THE CASE OF HRC, RAIDER THINK IS ANS 1 LOH...!!
THUS IN THAT CASE HRC UPSIDE IS INTACT LOH...!!
