Forward sustainable n stable earnings growth prospects is crucial... historical earnings are just guidelines.

Ha... business model there are always two types cyclical n defensive. Even financial institutions, reits, n utility also depends on interest rates cycles... that's why it isn't easy to understand a business model n invest...so please understand thoroughly businesses before committing...but it is still approximately correct. Time has changed very fast...many long term businesses its MOAT can disappear within one or two years...if the management is complacent.
