Last time I was keen about this company also, then sifu paperplane pointed out this capex issue to me. I studied it and agree he was right.

Think about the points I mentioned (regarding capex). If you think I not right, just ignore me.

the reason I said the above because I have witnessed with my own eyes how certain people I know amassed great wealth beyond your imagination by investing in quality second liners without paying excessive attention to moat

don't be so sure you are on right path

it is true that frequent in and out is pointless

but there is a middle path between sloth and hyperactivity

that middle path could be very profitable

by being condescending towards others methods, you prematurely shut yourself off from the real world

warren Buffett becomes the richest person in the world by investing based on moats and compounded growth, but this is Malaysia

there is a lot of work need to be done to verify his theory can work well here, in my opinion

If Mother shares continue to go up , this 28 Sen seller will disappear

He will reprice the warrants and queue to sell at higher price

Beneficiaries could be both upstream and downstream. Counters like pantech

Fair value = 5400 / 830 = RM6.5 ?

of course there is no guarantee conversion premium will remain at 23% (which btw is the standard conversion premium and not excessive)

lets' be conservative and assume conversion premium = 15% only

(WB + 4.72) / 4.50 = 1.15

WB + 4.72 = 5.18

WB = RM0.46

what happens when mother share is RM4.50 ?

assume same conversion premium of 23%, the formula becomes as follows :

(WB + 4.72)/4.50 = 1.23

WB + 4.72 = 1.23 x 4.50 = 5.53

WB = 5.53 - 4.72 = RM0.81

mother share RM4.07

warrants RM0.28

exercise price = RM4.72

conversion premium = (0.28 + 4.72) / 4.07 = 5 / 4.07 = 23% premium

the market has been very rational in valuing the warrants
