# MC - getting dividends above the FD rate is just self consolation. The main objective is also capital appreciation !

# CT - as you know I have 3 types of stock categories.
1) speculation - at most a week
2) trading - about 3 to 4 weeks
3) investment - 1 year and above

Of course depending on circumstances, stocks under one segment can move to the other. EAH was originally my trading but turned into long term. But if it can fetch me more than 50% at the end, why not ? Of course nowadays since I retired I go for fun trades - everyday have transactions.

# MC - bonus 1 for 2 in 2011, In fact I bought before bonus at 34.5 sen, After bonus it became 23 sen which I used as my entry price.

# yennie - you are right. Warrant always move with the mother but it is not in the money. Mother share is safer in the event of a correction. Og course higher gain in terms of percentage !

# MC - I thought I told you earlier. I am surprised that I held it so long and did the right thing in averaging down as many people says do not catch a falling knife.

# MC - on EAH, I bought just 30 lots at 23 sen more than 2 years ago as I feel it's under-valued (no FA involved) but then it kept dropping. Deep inside I do not believe it and thus I average at intervals all the way down. It dropped until its lowest at 11 or 11.5 sen a few months back and by that time I had 600 over lots at an average price of about 13.6 or 13.8 sen. A few times it suddenly had high volume, moved 1 or 2 sen and dropped back. Thus when it started moving this round to 15.5 sen I started selling in batches up to 20 sen. Now left with 300 lots. I notice that this time the moment is very strong, absorbing all the sellers, drop 1 sen but then recovered and finished higher and higher. Probably they are are benefiting from the budget. I will still sell in stages.

# yennie - there's no such term as GA in stock trading. It stand for Guts Analysis. For me it's based on my experience, for MC it's based on her feelings / judgement. There is no basis whatsoever to support GA.

Based on this round EAH at 16 sen I reckon is a decent price. Once it shoots past 20 sen I feel it may have surpassed the distribution stage. It it can go past 25 sen, then all distribution will be over.

The previous bonus was 1 for 2 not 1 for 1, if I may rememeber.

CT - I know you trust your charts but for Censof, it is very volatile too. In one and a half months, it dropped from 58 sen to 34 sen. (July//Aug period). Just for information.

# MC - for EAH, on TA perhaps you may wish to seek the opinion of TM932, CT or swee88. As for FA, If I may remember Mr. kcchongnz does not think it is a a good stock for value investing because the cash flow and the type of assets do not meet his criteria. Just be cautious. I would feel very bad if you lose your money entering this counter.

# Ooi TB - Good that your real trades follow what you do in the contest but what I mean is that the selling and buying prices surely cannot be the same in both situations.

MC - on GHL I reckon you will be quite safe then if you are still holding some at low entry prices. You just have confidence and belief to go for contra trading.

MC - GA is not 100% reliable as it has no basis, it belongs to each individual. I may be wrong, otherwise I would not have started selling at 15.5 sen. It's different from GHL where you have some positive information. However there these two have one similarity - keep moving up with negligible pullbacks !

# MC - I trust your judgement ans will be even more glad if you can profit further. I just do not want to see you lose back. Making money is difficult but losing is easy. All the best. I wish I can I support you bu re entering again but being the conservative me, I do not have that type of courage. But who knows - perhaps I will enter if I have the GA again !

# MC - from what I see in GHL the money has not gone out yet. But at 88 sen I would rather monitor it (my opinion only). Because if you expect the TP to be RM 1 the gain is just 12 sen but it has risen from 46 sen. Even if it drops back to 70 sen, the risk to reward ratio is 18 sen against 12 sen until you are willing to stop loss say at the 82 sen level. I trust you can make a good judgement since you have done it a few rounds already. I reckon you will go for quick trading with high volume and come out with 4 to 5 sen gains.

# Ooi TB - agree with your statement. If they actually do what they do in the contest, I am happy for them as it's their efforts. But bear in mind that this is not a real time contest as buying and selling are based on closing prices. In real life they may be different. For example in actual trading they may sell a share for 55 sen but when the price closed at 62 sen, the contest will take 62 sen as the selling price which is a lot of difference.

General

# MC - so glad you made that amount of money which I never expect or dream of. As you know I am rather contented with small gains. For you it's different. Being young you can afford to take on higher risks for better returns. Having said that, just be careful and protect your profits. How many people can actually become rich from the stock market. As long as you are still involved in stocks, no one can predict ultimately whether you end up as a winner or loser. The logic is simple, when one goes to Genting, no one knows whether he wins or loses until he comes down. To further elaborate, he may make 100 K in one day but as long as he returns to keep on gambling will be able to win more or lose back the 100 K or perhaps lose more than 100 K by the time he totally stopped gambling. Sorry for the long winded statement but just a friendly advice.

# MC - My counters are rather quiet today except made some money from MJPerak. Already used for the Hairy Crab Set Meal (lunch) and some drinks later. Luckily my EAH is moving up steadily but surely. Now at 20.5 sen but I started clearing progressively from 15.5 sen. This is my biggest investment and I expect it (God willing) to be my most profitable counter this year.

# swee88 - one must have a strong to withstand the volatility of such counters. It's common logic, why should the big players gorenf the stock for ordinary people like you and me to make money. Of if 10 people who go in, probably 2 or 3 are able to ride with the wave. But the rest will be burnt. Not pouring cold water and no offence meant - just do not want to see and of my friends here losing money. GHL is definitely safer and stable in the event of a correction.

# Before I sign off allow me to give some precautionary advice who are trading Sersol and Pelikan. If you were to see my postings, most if not all the counters I go in are profitable ones with my criteria being that they must register profits 3 out of 4 quarters. Once a while I also deviate from my principle like entering TGOffshore today. That's why I sold it off in the same day with a bit of profit. Thus you have to monitor such stocks carefully and know when to exit. Just take a look at how fast and severe counters like Cybert, AT and CAP drop ! Of course unless something big is brewing. Just my opinion. Good night
