@stkoay i accumulated Tenaga to average down to 10.05. now toying with possibility of selling some lots to catch MBB after ex date and to pump up a little on Bursa.

FYI.. I looked up some counters that interests me as am now looking at more divi stocks and this is what I found...

@stkoay thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. yes did notice MBB has been quite consistent and generous in its dividend compared to PBB which was known previously for its dividend. Guess things have change due to the perhaps overly conservative stance by PBB. MBB definitely one to look out for.

I have narrowed down by portfolio and re-balance to concentrate more banking and utilities like Tenaga. Like MBB, Tenaga dividend policy is also quite attractive too. I am bullish on their prospects given their aggressive approach to meet the ESG goals. currently I am 1:4 ratio of MBB:Tenaga. I am thinking of rebalancing further to 1:2 when opportunity arises.

Did you invest in Tenaga too?

hi stkoay, I noticed that you are investing quite heavily into MBB, maybe only MBB. just wondering but are you planning to diversify to other stocks to spread the risk?

I think it will slowly built up to above 10.0-10.10 before dropping back down after dividend..it LHDN casr outcome favourable and RSG roadmap clearer things will be good

@choysun so far 2 consecutive days have seen positive by market. helps that the political impasse has been subdue albeit temporarily

personally, I think the dividend will remain around RM0.20 like previous years. Also the good news include:

1. postponement of the LHDN v Tenaga on Tax issues after dividend is good,

2. additionally i think market is expecting more good news in the very near future as they unveil their plans for ESG roadmap leading to the reduction of carbon footprint via coal power generation and investment into solar energy in 2H, 2021,

3. diversification of investment into the EV market, Broadband, diversification,

4. it's damn cheap now, DY is high.

@Michael, I also got pink form before. you know or not the difference between pink form and IPO? share price same. difference is IPO we the public must apply and fight to get. pink form allocated to staff, associates, business partners, etc - confirm can get. when EIG got listed, i took up my pink form and got my allocated shares. same listed price as public at RM0.75. please dont con people. of course long serving director may be special price before listing but again can only sell if they resign or after 6 months.

also I dont think any company want to see their shares drop below IPO price especially on first day too.. malu la... those who want to sell please do so... others will top up

maybe staff and some customers will sell cheap. directors and upper management will not, at least so soon. those directors and management staff who were given pink forms and sell so cheap may have to face query from boss whether they believe in the company or not. those staff selling are all kucing kurap / care bear fare hoping for quick buck. I used to work for EIG and were given pink form when they got listed. first day all junior staff throw. why? because most of them borrow money from relatives/family to goreng and make quick buck. management still hold on for few years.. dont forget directors also got moratorium to hold shares for 6 months.

I feel this counter will be slow and steady to go up. My personal opinion is that will be up ard RM1.50-1.60 possible but only at Q4. However my remisier thinks otherwise that should not keep more than 2 weeks partly due to political and C19 scare.
