Hahaaa. HSC maybe a bit tough even they got JV as those tendering are well connected big companies and cash cow. But Chang i do not deny this is a good co. and at this price is good deal. Coming catalyst should be the Chennai project. At this price, i would give a chance to this co as i realised most of the supporters left Scomi as they are little bit disappointed with it.

Even TH Heavy also reach RM1 and financially i think Scomi performed better. That is why....

Hi Pisangkuat. Just need to accept the fact and nothing is perfect. Always a bottleneck in some of the deals. That is why investing is not as simple as u think. If that easy, Msia has the most milionaires by reference to the population & not Spore. I actually do not deny that Sona performance could be much better if the approval was earlier by 2 to 3 months when oil price at the peak and before the global share market correction. So some bad timing there but anywhere will wait and see...

Not hope but definitely. This is only the 2nd SPAC and the SC will definitely approve it. If not approved, i guess Reach will the last SPACs in market. All us have have waited long enough and encountered numerous turbulence time. Every day we see other counters up but not Sona and hence, those waited till now will be rewarded big time... Pls wear your sit belt and we will slowly monitor "Sona-Wa" trend. If they is some uptrend and the warrants volume more than mother 6 to 7 times...then the game will begin....

Even though i been trading (buy & sell) this counter numerous time since their IPOs but i still stick to this counter as i saw and believe they have some nice proposal. Some may think as speculative stock as all speculation on QA, approval for the SC etc. but seriously this is a good co. In term of the management, transparency and quality of assets. So far the management stick to their words. That is why i do not buy Sumatec as Sona have much better corporate governance

Clj Jun, to clarify. Year end approval will be almost impossible as the SC has their own KPI. If they need more than 4 months to approve a straight forward proposal, it will destroy the perception of investment community and most of them will reluctant to list in Bursa. For those RTO, yes they will take long it is not that straight forward.

Yes 120% agreed. Beside the 2 bidders and Sona, PNB & RHB apparently like the assets as well. If they don't like it even USD1 million also will not be granted to Sona. Before their investment comittee approved facilities approved the USD140 mill they need to know whether the co can generate enough profitability

Borrow money not necessary bad. Like i bought houses, i will stretch as long as possible my loans as i can earned much better return in equities. Also, pls do note that Sona is just SPAC and it i@ an uphill task to convince PNB and RHB to give facilities of USD140 mill unless the assets are good one. Trust me and u can ask any of your friends in corporate banking. And oil price at low may not be necessary forever. Pls remember OPEC meeting at end of Nov 2014 may change the game.

Guys, even there are 2 bidders for Salamander. Not to worry as it will take at least min 9 months to go through or more esp. lengthty due diligence process. Thereon, you need to draft the agreements and go through all the approval process. It make even take more than 9 months or even 12 months as there are 2 bidders.
