It's a rich man's game. In my opinion the majority shareholder is doing their best to keep the price low so that if they decide to make it private they don't have to pay so much. Same as Oriental also.

HLID has lots of cash to pay dividends even in a bad year (unlikely). As dividends increases (very likely), so does the price of its share. Very good for long term investment. Dividend yield determines the price.

Profit of a company's does not take into account of how much the competitors sells.

Institutional investors should be already buying, but very slowly because they want to buy cheap.Dividend should be rising every year because they have so much cash, good profit every year, good demand for products for years to come.

Cash and bank balance should be around 1b. If 500 million is used to pay dividend then its rm1.50 per share.
