Property firm Malaysia Pacific Corp Bhd (MPCorp) has fallen into Practice Note 17 (PN17) status today after its external auditors expressed a disclaimer opinion on its latest audited accounts for the financial year ended June 30, 2014 (FY14).

In a filing with the stock exchange today, MPCorp said its external auditor Messrs BDO has not been able to obtain sufficient appropriate audit evidence to provide a basis for an audit opinion.

Don't buy a company that name as "sai"

By that same reasoning if uzman drop to $1 , ur fd return will be much higher than if u buy at $2

During good time uzman is good. Any oil and gas is good
But bad times - even petronas is not good - how can uzma/uzman be good
Now also trade at PE 10 expensive eg if next year earnings drop by half the PE can be 20X = very expensive
So look fwd when buying , don't just remember the good times when now times are really bad

Looking at the oil prices I won't rule out even $1.50 soon

Skpetrol debt is huge $15 billion
Cash & cash equavalent = $1.6 billion

Shld monitor the inflow and outflow of foreign funds

Once foreigners lose confidence in our markets and admin - that will be the end

Maybe in the past they can lobby to get contact from petronas due to skpetrol is actually Dr M petrol , but now oil price so low, and even petronas CEO say no more easy money and capex will be cut 15- 20%
