my average purchase prive is RM 4.90 with 188 lot. current price is RM4.77 mean i already loss RM2444 {(4.9-4.77)X 18800}.

After the ex-date I will entitle 18800*0.9094=17096.72. But this is part of my original investment. not something extra. and the open price after ex-date is 4.77-0.91=3.86. this is my balance of capital. Nothing extra.

unless someone buy it higher >3.86 after the ex-date.

3.if I purchase it at the price RM 4.95/unit, i still can can effort the price drop to RM 4.95-RM0.0904=RM4.0406 to consider loss after the dividend?

in bursa, everything is risk. just hope bet the right one. if my assuptiom is correct, tomorrow who purchase this stock will all HUAT for CNY angpow.
if my assumption is wrong, still can take back the discount dividend.

what is the different of Entitlement date and Payment date for dividend?

time to buy DSCSOL at 0.180/0.185. tomorrow will up to 0.190 or 0.195. another day will reach 0.20. I notice this pattern for few times already. too bad today my capital all in kulim.

maybe this roadblock is to avoid contra buy in and sell after the ex-date. with the purpose to maintain the price after ex-date.

it doesn't matter up or not. the point if it the mother share price not drop too much with your purchase price, you already earn profit. I look back past few year dividend after ex-date data, the mother share price is maintain except on 17/02/11 where the dividend and stock split at the same time. Hope i'm right to get this bonus back home. current already buy 50 lot at 4.94, 40 lot at 4.92. still want to buy another 78 lot at the lowest price today.

actually, now i sell my other stock with a little loss and all buy in the Kulim mother share. If the mother share price not drop much . I will earn better profit from this account.

40 lot = 4000 small unit. Lawrencelim and necro said YES on question 1 mean 1 lot =RM 90.94 = RM3637 right?
