I think Magni's share price big drop is due of NBA team Houston Rocket GM's statement on Hong Kong. NBA's impact on Magni is just a short term. China consumers too emotional in this issue. Everything will come back to normal in short term.

Pang, I would happy to share my comments in the forum but I won't recommend when to buy or when to sell because I am not the god. I don't know when the price is the lowest and when the price is highest. Earning of the company will decide whether you buy or sell. And when you wanna buy, buy portion by portion, and same for the sell.

Pang, very happy you have earn money from Magni. Me too. I held Magni since 2013 and in between I have sold 20% of it, which is I think I sold it too early. But frankiy speaking, I am planning to sell some of it before bonus ex. because I bought at very low price. My margin on Magni more than 500% and it is time to cash some money.

@Apple168, price up or drop after bonus is depend on the company performance and investors confident on Magni, not you said drop it will drop. Like PentaMaster, after bonus the price adjusted to 2.90 but now 4.60.

For Magni case, share split first followed by bonus issue. If you have 2,500, you will get (2,500 x 2) x 4/3 = 6,666.67, and you will have 6,666 unit of magni. In this case, I would suggested you to buy another 500 units to make it 3,000 units then you will have 8,000 units. It is easy for you if you wanna sell magni in the future.

For me Magni is a wonderful stock. I started bought it on 2013 at RM1.32 and still kept till now. After 6 years dividend received and bonus 1:2 on 2015, just imagine how many % margin.

@Cherry88, my opinion is since WB still got 13 months to go and if you are confident with mother share, not harm to buy WB at current price because any upwards of price in mother share will follow by WB. If not, WB should has -ve premium and it's worth to exercise WB to mother share. Like current stage, mother price 1.57 and WB 0.55, with exercise price 1.00, the premium is -2sen .
Once you convert, you gain 2sen.

@Apple168, your clients may thinking that they sold Magni too early based on your advice. They would happy if they can sell at RM6.40(yesterday closing price) rather than RM4.90(when you started posting negative comments on Magni). You may kena scold if I m your client.

I don't think it's a trap. This company still profitable and is a cash rich zero debt company. In fact the company's profit should be higher but due to new accounting policy, the unrealised earnings from stock market will not take into account as profit.
