I've been holding Redtone since IPO. I guess it's my mistake for hoping that it will reach dizzying heights. Now, with some hindsight, all these 3rd class telcos aren't worth investing. They're meant to take care of the major owners only. For exposure to the telco sector, it's better to buy Digi, Axiata, TM or Maxis.

The CWs look to be cheap, unless kccgongnz says otherwise. At 0.02/0.025 and with about a year left, I think it's good to park some spare cash. All it takes is just a 0.5 sen movement

Don't know what to make of CSL. Small shareholders are at the mercy of the controlling shareholders. Dividend announced 24 Aug and will be paid only 21 Nov, almost 3 months - that's not exactly progressive as with DIGI. The amount is also minuscule 1.8sen, but better than nothing. The consolation is those off-market deals were at 1.25. I guess, just hang on, something is bound to happen, average down when it drops

This is a huge purchase amounting to USD 2.9b to be paid through new shares and debts. Seadrill is laughing all the way to the bank.

Assuming you buy at 2.70 (if you can get it), that's 0.30 below IPO or a discount of 10% (and that's not counting the brokers fee). That is not 30% discount!

I noticed yesterday in the morning session there were many small trades, ie. below 100. I think there were many retail players buying around 2.90 to 2.80, believing it will rebound through the support of some big players. When it was in the 2.70+, retails got scared. And in the afternoon each trade were bigger from institutional buying.
Today, the pattern looks the same. The question is will these big players support it upwards or the other way round.
