Lesson 3 is especially true! Although all the facts are before him, people will still choose to believe all the lies and bullshits, simply because they choose to believe what they want to believe rather than facts. And there are so many in this I3 forum.

All these stories just reinforce the bad impression people have with regards to red chip counters, those Chinese owned counters listed in Bursa, are pure shit, although their books claimed to have very high net cash and NTA. All are con men!

Company loves you? Silly! You r just to be exploited, once u r of lesser value or company find someone better to be exploited, u will be thrown out. This is especially true with China man's company or companies run by China man's mentality .

Now, can start accumulate ICAP shares, corporate activities can be expected to pick up. As a small shareholder, you won't be worse off either way. The worst (or best ?)case, you can get back the full value of ICAP's NTA.

No need of name calling. Show me the fact that BjCorp owns MOLG indirectly or through whatever means that is verifiable, then I will believe you.
2014-10-30 16:21 | Report Abuse
I combed through BjCorp latest annual report and I can't find a single mention of MOLG nor listing of MOLG as either a subsidiary or associate.
Instead, I found this on the Internet.
HONG KONG: Online payment company MOL Global Inc priced its US IPO at the bottom of expectations to raise US$169mil after slashing the number of shares offered, a source with direct knowledge of the deal said on Thursday.
The first US IPO of a Malaysian company was priced at US$12.50 per share, the bottom of a US$12.50 to US$14.50 marketing range, said the source. The source declined to be identified as details of the deal have not yet been announced.
The company is majority-owned by Malaysian billionaire Tan Sri Vincent Tan.
The IPO consisted of 13.5 million American Depositary shares, less than the 19.5 million originally planned. - Reuters
What belongs to Vincent Tan doesn't mean it belongs to BjCorp. Please don't mislead the innocent.

BjCorp will be hobbling under the weight of huge bank interest and huge projects in China and elsewhere that seem to be put on hold forever. Until either the Vietnam lottery project or some other 'akan datang' comes along to spike the interest of speculation, BjCorp will remain where it is, the most is range bound between 0.48 - 0.6.
To say BjCorp is a bluechip is an insult to those holding BAT, Nestle PBB and PetDag.

You invest or speculate based on your analysis and decide, don't blame others for promoting a certain stock. Just remember to think why people promote a certain stock, and only you yourself cares about your hard earned money anyway.

Sometimes, u need to know a bit about the history and the people running the company. KNM with a torrid history of price movements without corresponding delivery of performance, how can u trust it for investment? Trading, may be if u are good.
Similarly, MPCorp, see how the major shareholders charge the company at exorbitant interest rate on a loan by them, how to expect the company to do well.
