Just a feeling, it seems many of the "Good News" was completely used up during the bonus issues and push of share price from Sep 2020 through End Jan 2021. Now it's starting to show some reversion to mean, the actual ups and downs in a construction/EPCC business.

Just be aware that the recent share price drop was attributed by provisional losses on increased project costs and impairment of receivables in 2Q2021 results. Upcoming QR in end Nov (or around Dec) would show further if more losses due to increased project costs and any further impairments.

You can calculate the dividend based on 60% payout ratio, based on previous QR earnings. The dividend is always declared and paid for previous Quarter Earnings. Coming QR will have 39 cents (66 cents X 60% = 39.6 or 39 cents).

Dividend Ex-Date is 23 Sep 2021 on the US listed Harta. Maybe that'll be the ex-date after AGM.

Hi Dindin01, the annual EPS is RM0.006229 (Total earnings RM7.618 mil on NOSH 1,223 mil shares). So the div yield @ 30% payout ratio for shares bought at RM0.25 is less than 0.75%

Has anyone any idea on why the previous founder/chairman/directors fully exited the company and resigned their positions? That happened around when Awang decided to join in the company Aug 2020.

Don't forget that share numbers will increase by 20% (1 for 5) causing dilution in the future with major shareholder converting the preferential right share. Basically this is like Rights Issue with interest payment to holders. If you think Sunway share can be lower than RM1 in future, why not buy then. Also, if Sunway is to face cashflow problem with defaults on interest payment, we may not get anything.

It'll be laughable if the management really intend to do masks and gloves. They are busy producing all those water meter from that 1.5 months time out.

Gloves stocks reminded me the times of Masteel, Lionind, Hengyuan, Petronm... Surely the QR will support the share prices to go up, until it isn't... Needless to say many who shout buy at this level will disappear from I3 forum soon, IMO before end of this year.

E.g. Company has 1000 unit shares outstanding (NOSH), buy back 100 unit, NOSH becomes 900 unit (If they cancel the bought shares)

EPS and dividend will be higher if you hold 1 unit out of 900 than out of 1000 units.

Many penny stocks were Goreng up in matter of days. I believe it was Goreng rather than investors buy and hold. It rises too fast.

Opinion: The GSC revenue and profit would be severely affected due to MCO and lack of movie goers after MCO is lifted. And since GSC commands a large portion of net profit (20%+), we should see dividend reduction and earnings tanked in the FY2020. Nevertheless I hope it will be good opportunity to buy at discount for long term investment.

Looks like 0.5 to 1 cent dividend is possible, if the profit is around 2 cents. That's around 40% payout ratio using 2018 (46%) and 2017 (40%) benchmark.

There's no company issued warrants in Topglove.. Only bank issued structural warrants. You cannot exchange these warrants to Topglove shares. By the time these warrants expire, most of them which does not exceed the conversion price will kaput and become worthless. ZERO, not a single cent.

I remember the property stocks in UK during 2008 crisis, it drop more than 90% (Barratt Development). Whoever bought it at the lowest makes back almost 50 times the value till today, excluding the dividend that was allocated during the past 10 years.

But you can also buy the wrong stock that it either went bonkers or stay the same price range (since 10 years ago!!!).

Actually EcoWorld is a well-managed company. It is just the market (stocks) not performing, the economy looks dimmed for the next few years, high un-affordability in London for young adults to buy houses. The BTR is a good strategy to mitigate the affordability issues for the time being while creating value for the company and the citizens of London.

The stock looks like no support, if it can go low there is no harm to buy and keep if you have the holding power. But, no dividend for now until the company is stable la. They still have the 12 sites to develop mah (currently 6 on-going) + 3 with Ballymore. If they cannot sell then will be scary la.

Although, my green tea is blackened beyond recognition. Should have taken profit for the good news on BTR with Investco.

The WA volume is higher than company share, but still consider small in proportion to the total volume.

WA Volume traded - 4,000,000 of 960,000,000 = 0.4% traded. Small indeed.
Mother Volume traded - 631,300 of 2,400,000,000 = 0.263% traded. Even smaller.

I think this time is different, economy crisis occurs like in 2008 cause market to down. That was without the property market stagnation. If market down together with over supply and low demand for property, stocks for property can go lower than in 2008/9. But of course the NTA was different then so similar discount in NTA then and now can be use as guideline for the low low price?

I think just becareful though, news is out and different from previous drop due to Zahid. The low price range would just stay for some time. GenM has a similar behaviour, when tax come out the rebound is still strong from bottom because people are still guessing the impact to bottomline. When the theme park news comes in, it just stay low and didn't really rebound.

They are here to give you advice, free of charge some more.

But who are they working for? Banks pay their salary, and banks earn from traders..? So are they influencing or advicing? Food for thoughts.

Plus, they are human also, cannot be exactly accurate. But representing the banks means they have to be reliable. So, how reliable are Public bank's free advice so far?

Shares with 96% drop, those are speculative stocks without much fundamental.

Genting Malaysia is a running business with more than 2 decades of track record, a branded location well known to locals and some foreigners, managed by a company that has multi-national presence on a business that is difficult to make losses (gambling).

But these doesn't matter if the fund managers/owners decide to exit for reasons known to their own... Don't think ikan bilis here can absorb so much of equity within today, who is tanking?

Okay la, Nestle should be doing good when people need to spend less for more affordable food. Buy Nestle!!

I think possible to be RM3.xx after February QR is release in 2019. Based on lower crack spread and crude price going down since early October 2018. Market is giving discount to a lot of companies anyway due to sentiment, especially those that announce low or negative profit.

Just guesstimating...Learning here.
