come on..
turnaround?
RM81k profit for 1 qtr.
Less than RM30k per month.
total liabilities exceeds current assets and auditors had expressed their concern over this.
although we can see the management's effort in bringing down the total liabilities over the years, and the cash flow is good, but its still too early to say this is a turnaround.
yes, probably in 3-5 years.

Malaysia is a land where everyone oso tutup mata if you got the connection.
For eg when a substantial shareholders buy or sell shares and delay in reporting it to the company, and you complain to SC, they will tell you its Bursa Malaysia's job since the old law regarding changes in substantial shareholding had been abolished.
So basically when you are a majority shareholder and you buy or sell shares without declaring, it is no longer violating the law, it is just violating Bursa Malaysia's listing regulation, where there is NO JURISDICTION power at all.

FUNNY thing is they are suspending the trading due to some old news, which is unrelated at all with current news.
Coz they have totally NO GROUND to suspend the trading at all, and furthermore for 2 FREAKING DAYS.
Come on, what type of announcement you make need 2 days time?
Even Icon and UMWOG breakup oso in 1 day time.

The request for suspension is made under subparagraph 3.1(a)(ii) of Practice Note 2 on Requests for Suspension of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities (“Listing Requirements”) pursuant to the receipt of a letter from Iskandar Waterfront Holdings Sdn. don't live in your fantasy.
a director disposing share in the open market can NEVER be a good news.
unless he need cash for subscribing to the ESOS at a cheaper price etc, but even this type is still not a good news.
while for BIOHLDG, it is a director acquiring shares off market to sell it in open market.
who would be willing to sell such amount of shares off market at such massive discount relative to open market price when it is obvious that open market have the liquidity volume to take the shares if they dispose open market.
it is normal for directors of a listed company hold shares through a numbers of related parties.
why this move?
think about it on another perspective.

in my opinion, management will not change the outlook from 'stable' to 'challenging' simply for nothing.
they would have sensed some challenges with the reducing orders from UA.
But in fact if you look closer, UA is still growing, just that at a slower rate.
The problem is their OEM factory across the world is increasing their capacity exceeding their growth which leads to reducing profit margin.
PRLEXUS still have an advantage as they still have Nike as their another major client.
Based on interview with PRLEXUS chairman, he state its not easy to be OEM factory for those brand, they require a very high requirements to be and maintained. They will audit the factory from time to time and so far they are satisfy with PRLEXUS's performance.
so new competitor would not just appear suddenly.
those brand perfer to stick to their existing partner which have years of relationship.
and furthermore, its not feasible for Trump to move clothing industries back to US as its very labour intensive.
Uniclo chairman even state that they would rather EXIT US MARKET if Trump ask them to move their factory to US.

niki & R40s,
this is also the question that puzzled me.
"commissioned" should mean start operation usually.
but up till Jan 2017, their money allocated to build both factory in Vietnam and Kluang is still mostly untouched.
and they did state the new plant will start seeing contribution in FY2018.
which raise the question, does their "commission" means start the building process?

dolly, you got a point..
when looking purely on numbers, the current qr result is quite commendable.
PBT is 2nd higher in history.
the main reason it's trading at this price is caused by previous qr dragging it down.
now the problem lies with the management's prospect.

from "stable" to "challenging due to uncertainties of the global economy"..
the rest of the sentence is the same... lol
but one thing indicate by increasing revenue is that their ability to pass the excess capacity due to reduced order from UA to Nike, but profit margin seemed to be reduced.
Magni is having continuous growth under Nike, so the main problem lies with UA.
and their new factory in Vietnam is not making big progress yet.

KNM simply reminds me of SAAG where i lost quite a lot of fortune there.
anyone over here have experience with SAAG?
DO NOT fall in love with any company, not to mention company that keeps on taking money from shareholders but never reward its shareholders.
Up till date KNM have a total of 36,358 shareholders for a 2b share issued, which is A LOT!!
Couldn't imagine how many trapped inside and refuse to cut loss.

ALAM 9k.
UMWOG 20k.

"With regard to your email, please be informed that the regulation of Securities Industry (Reporting of Substantial Shareholding) Regulations 1998 is no longer in operation following the revocation on 7th November 2014. You may refer to this link for more info - https://www.sc.com.my/wp-content/uploads/eng/html/resources/acts/PU_(A)_292_2014.pdf
However we take note of the issue raised and will refer the matter to Bursa Malaysia for its review on possible breaches of the listing requirements."
SC will reply you reply as above and REFUSE to take action when you report to them about changes in substantial shareholding is not reported accordingly.
According to them the regulations had been revoked.
When asked about which law governs the reporting of changes in substantial shareholdings since the previous one is revoked, they refuse to reply.
So i suppose as well as SC concern, there is no regulation regulating the reporting of changes in substantial shareholdings.
This is Malaysia, they can revoke a law without passing a new law replacing it.

Su Jackie: CSC is one of the best steel company at current price of RM1.77. June comes and dividend is 14 sen and equates to a dividend yield of 7.9 %. 3 months to go to get 7.9 % which annualize to 31.6 % yield. This is the only steel company that does not borrow a single sen. CSC will continue to generate good margins as prices for hot rolled coils and cold rolled coils continue to remain firm. Steel companies' cost of material in house work on average costs (much lower than current cost) and compared to current replacement cost at high level will continue to contribute excess margins for the next two Quarters. Steel companies have raw material and finished goods to cover at least the next three months. CSC does not have to bear any finance cost and this is very positive to its net margin. Companies' Acts 2016 introduced no par value for shares and CSC's share premium will have to be loaded back to its nominal share value within 24 months, CSC's current par value is high at RM1 per share and I will not be surprised CSC split its shares in the near future or issue bonus shares. This is due to market price trading significantly below net asset value. This is a very blue company compared to many steel companies.

-----------------
Did you know the share price will adjusted down by RM0.14 after the dividend ex-date?
If you want to calculate this way, let me introduce you a new method, you can earn 2844% in share market, better than all money game, hands down.
How to execute?
Just buy every company 1 day before ex-date.
Then your yield could be easily >1000%.
For eg, you buy CSC 1 day before Ex Date,
with dividend yield of 7.9% p.a, its 31.6% per 3 months, 94.8% per month and 2844% per day based on your logic.
Better than those money game right??

Not a wise move.
3 billion share issued is already a bloated amount.
Now you have more..
They should consolidate shares instead of issued more shares.
In order for price to move, the share issued should not be too much.
Look at the case of RCECAP.

we should ask how 张晓卿 manage his companies...
look at RSAWIT, its can be say as the worst managed oil palm company in Malaysia.
Even THPLANT is better managed then them.
look at RSAWIT's balance sheet and cash flow and you will know what i mean.
while for ppl saying JTIASA plantation will meletup.
it supposed to be, but with a POOR OER and poor execution of harvesting of FFB where lots of palm fruit left to rot, don't think the result will be very nice.
and not to mention their log dropped from a stable 80k cu m to around 40k cu mand now further drop to 25k cu m (15k cu m in Jan 17)..
it is very disturbing to see the rate how fast it drop.
and now the rise of tax from 80 sen to RM50 per cu m to a sarawak foundation to sponsor schlolarship of poor students overseas.
watch closely on their monthly result and only enter when there is a turning point from the worst.
